Playing this game with no lights on and scanlines feels amazing, it just fits the vibe perfectly. The music in this game was great too, it almost felt like the playlist on shuffle somehow knew when to play the right tracks and everything feels well crafted.

Every time I think about this game the more I hate it.

I have had this in my favorite games on backloggd since September I never lost faith

This game is awful, I think the only listenable tracks are like Staff Roll A, and Chapter II - In the Sky. The ost is simultaneously the worst music I've ever heard while equally interesting and very fitting. There's probably only one likeable character in the game and that's Seere, everyone else is so bad.

this game has a coherent plot, with real character motivations, and interesting characters and emotional payoff and some of the greatest vocal tracks I have ever heard. It was really satisfying to get the final ending of the game. My only real complaint is that its just a little too sex crazed for me, like I get it Yoko Taro likes women, but man Cent is the only bearable servant by far.

Really good short experience although I wish it was a little bit longer. The official description being "horror-adventure" is a little misleading as in my opinion, the scariest part was the intro, definitely does lean into those elements, especially since it's supernatural but it's more about the mystery than the horror. I'm beyond satisfied though for $14 (sale price).

The presentation of this game is very clean. From the UI, to the Gen Kobayashi character designs, to the backgrounds, the visual style is very refined.

The mystery presented to you is entertaining, and I loved how the game really makes sure you pay attention to the story by putting different questions throughout that aren't the hardest thing to figure out but just enough that you have to think about it based on the information you have.

I loved the game, although I feel that the final ending could've been dragged out a bit more and certain ideas related to that ending could've been explored more.

Atmosphere was incredible with headphones, and I love how the game was quite minimal, it was very nice to play the full thing in under 2 hours without feeling like I blasted through it

I remember enjoying the story quite a bit, but man the bosses in this game fill me with rage, man I love falling to the floor because of a skill issue and taking 10 years to stand up.

Hadn't played this game in five years but this replay really changed me.

this game is so garbage man, 2 YEARS and this is what they cooked up like there's just no way too little, too late

Previously a 4 but the 3 years later replay truly changes everything.

you know this game isn't as insufferable as i expected it to be, its not like the greatest game of all time, or that enjoyable but it definitely is probably the best flop I've ever played, like I didn't walk away feeling that offended by this one

This game was incredibly fun. The soundtrack was amazing, and every boss was fun. Sometimes it felt like BS but all I had to do was find the right gear, and then everything went smooth sailing. The story although not the best in the world, is certainly not the worst in the world and the voice acting helps it.

I am forever sad that there is no 3rd game because this game was so good, especially the last act, it really just sits in my head every now and then along with "A Red Apple Fell From The Sky."

Honestly looking back at it, it's really not that bad in terms of the whole experience but when I first finished the game, I just sat there for an hour thinking about how much nothing that ending tells you.
