minus .5 from the original because of peters face

main complaint would be with length definitely could have been longer and a better villain would have made it a lot better other than that really love this adaptation of miles

one of the best video game experiences I had for a long time it even ruined gaming for me for a long ass time this game despite being dialogue heavy has a lot of replay value and even the slow paced parts upon replay are still extremely fun to go through anyone who enjoys rich narratives of any kind really should atleast try this game because there's honestly an extremely high chance u will fall in love with it

Absolutely love this game to pieces although I do feel replay value is not very good unless u are playing new game + even years later going back for a second playthrough i enjoyed it but still felt it could have been done better in some areas

holds up really well even today for new comers to either the Elder Scrolls series or Skyrim itself but as someone whose been playing it for years it has begun to become extremely repetitve unless I am doing something to purposely make the game different or just a normal vanilla playthrough on console but also this might just be me saying this because of my excessive amount of hours that total up to 2.2k hours

i made the mistake of playing the definitive edition for my playthrough but still was an amazing narrative that i loved every second of and I really do recommend this game to anyone who is interested in a story with a beautiful cast set in the WW2 Era up to the 60s era of italian-american crime

really enjoy this game despite its flaws with lack of letting u play the character how you want and even though i gave this a low rating just because of the glaring problems in the writing and so much more i would still recommend it to anyone who wants another fallout experience similar to fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas although I do not recommend it if your trying to play the game on modern PC hardware because it runs awfully on recent PCs the amount of troubleshooting ive had to do to just get the game to run on my current PC is insane and I would not play this game for the first time if i had these many issues

greatest video game of all time

mid but the Panam and Johnny story line are peak imo

Without getting into spoiler because I think even the most minor spoilers are worth experience for the first time this game was an emotional roller coaster for me I have both GOW 3 and GOW 4 platinumed and have been playing the series since the release of GOW 4 back in 2018 and have been anticipating this game for so long. The amount of emotions I experienced through the 30 hours of playing the main quest are indescribable this is the first game to genuinely make me break down crying because of how amazing it is. In total I cried 9 times and I honestly am glad I felt these emotions because I will never have an experience like this again with any game. If you loved anything about God of War 4 and your skeptical on buying this game just get it its one of the best experiences in gaming you probably will ever have. I don't think I could end this year off on any better new release this game will honestly even probably leave a long lasting impact on me and I haven't even completed all the side content yet just everything about this game is fucking amazing and I cannot recommend this game enough you will not be disappointed in the slightest.

I originally played and beat this game back in late 2018 but with the addition of all the assassins creed games to PS+ I decided to go back and do everything in this game. The main story was absolutely fantastic minus a few plot points I felt could be done better and some minor nitpicks the story being told was absolutely phenomenal. Although that's where my main praise for this game ends this game started a path for the series of Assassins creed that ruined the franchise for longtime fans which as one was very sad to see. I won't sit here and act like I don't enjoy the new combat system because I do, I honestly enjoy the new system a lot. Although the addition of forcing the player to engage in often at times mediocre side missions and the unbelievable amount of clearing enemy locations that feels beyond repetitive half way through clearing all of them. This games main content is absolutely fantastic and I wish all of the game was more like that. It might seem from my complaints of the side content that I absolutely hated this game but that statement cant be farther from the truth. This game was a step in the right direction, and an amazing breath of fresh air after Syndicate but that's all it was for the series. Immediately after it they slipped, stumble, and fell into the bottomless pits of hell with Odyssey but I wont go into my problems with Odyssey so far in my playthrough of that game. All I have left to say about the game as a whole is it was an amazing breath of fresh air that can keep your enthralled for hours just roaming the beautiful open world of ancient Egypt along with the beautifully written plot but after you finish that plot it becomes extremely repetitive afterwards and you find yourself wondering why you continue to play the game.

My feeling for this game my entire time playing it were always changing. I originally bought this game to see if it really is as bad as everyone says it is and for awhile I stopped playing because I really did believe it was as awful as everyone said it was. I was unwilling to look past what Abby did for so long that it stopped me from being able to even play the game for multiple months but then I saw a video on the game a couple days ago and it made me realize some of the story elements that I was just unable to understand and see because of my blind hatred for Abby. After gaining a new perspective on the game it honestly was one of the most fun gaming experiences I have had. If you are willing to look past what Abby does at the start of the game and try to understand her you will not hate this game but if you are a die hard fan boy of the game refusing to play it because its not enough Ellie your experience in this game will be miserable because the 2nd part of playing as Ellie is honestly not as fun as Abby and a lot of the best experiences in the game come from Abby's part of the game with Manny, and Lev. I won't get into detail about the story but my main complaint with this game is the last part there is a part in the game where they had an amazing spot they could have ended it but they didn't and when you the player realize this it makes the last few chapters feel like a drag but even though they feel like a drag I still really enjoyed the game as a whole even the start of the game as painful as it is was a great moment in the game

I really want to give this game a higher rating but as someone who holds the franchise of Assassins Creed so dearly I just can't. This game is an amazing open world gaming that can distract you for hours and hours just encapsulating you in the world and getting you invested in the world. Along with this it allows you to feel like your choices genuinely matter especially from the start up until the completion of the phase 1 family ending. Although even with all these fantastic things about the game it can be extremely tedious. Once you finish the family ending and move onto the Atlantis and Cult ending it is beyond frustrating and annoying trying to complete as many locations, and side quest just to get to level 50 so you can full finish all 3 phases of the story. As much as I love the side quest in this game it is beyond frustrating being forced to do them just to progress through the main quest. I probably would not have had to grind as much if I bought the XP booster but if I am pushed to buy something to level up faster so the game doesn't feel like its a drag in the end then there is something extremely wrong with your game. On this topic of micro transactions in the game another major problem is some of the best looking gear sets, horses, and ship designs are locked behind a pay wall that you have to spend money on Helix Credits to obtain. I did not spend any money on this game thankfully but other may be more tempted to buy these armors and items in the shop considering some of these armors stat wise are the best in the game. Although despite all these problems I really enjoyed Assassin's Creed Odyssey and I also really did hate it for having nothing to do with a franchise I have loved every since I was a little despite having the name of the franchise in it.

Replayed after playing The Last of Us Part 1 and I can say the story was a lot more understandable why people hated Abby's story line and the ending overall but I still loved it and experiencing the difference between P1's combat and this games combat is such a nice change to experience. It is far more fluid and feels like you have far more control over the shooting and how you engage both head on and stealth wise. Along with this the increase in variety of the animations in both the parkour and combat is a very nice change. Overall this game improved in a lot of ways and did have some downgrades from the first game but I still think this is a fantastic game that everyone should at least try at some point

still unbelievably peak
