This was a nice little 3D platformer! Easily one of the best from the revival era!

A quick word of advice to those playing on PC via Windows 10:
NSLT does not perform automatically reading your GPU, if you're an NVIDIA user like me, go to your NVIDIA control panel and set the GPU performance to "high," where then you'll be able to pull GPU power for the game. For me at least, it severely boosted my framerate to a smooth 60FPS and since the game is not demanding in the slightest in terms of graphical power, it's easy to run on ultra settings at 1080p.

Anyway, New Super Lucky's Tale is a fun and quick little 3D platformer that doesn't reinvent the wheel in many ways, but refines a lot of mechanics we've seen in games before to craft an unoriginal, yet enjoyable experience. New Super Lucky's Tale is short and easy (unless you want to get all the achievements), and it took me less than 24 hours to finish it. It's a super good time (especially when playing via Game Pass like I did), so it's well worth a shot to spend a day on finishing.

An overall fine addition to the collection of modern 3D platforms. This one felt especially polished compared to others but the lack of difficulty made it a struggle to finish. I'd recommend trying it out if you have Game Pass.

A major improvement in terms of level design, animation, control, and so on.

This game is funny and I really liked to collect all itens hidden in the map. But the major problem of this game is It have a short duration and is very easy to finish. But you can enjoy if you are looking for a good 3D plataform game.

decidedly on the easy side as 3D platformers go, but the mechanics and pacing are solid, and hey, sometimes you just want to play something cute and chill

Mildly better re-release that fixes some of the issues from the original, giving some levels a total overhaul and cleaning up most of the camera issues. Adding all the DLC is nice too but it still cant save the game from feeling just vaugely average.

Its fun and charming enough to speed through if you happen to love 3D platformers but its still lacking in originality and flair.

Scratches the 3D Collect-a-Thon itch, but, it's also incredibly slight. Places a ton of importance on lore that is so inconsequential it's hard to care. Remember when video game characters went on adventures just because? This game doesn't.

Beyond some ingenious musical motifs and character designs (The freaking Soggy Boggy Boys!), this is very forgettable.

Honestly this game probably wouldn't be as memorable to me if I didn't love how controlling Lucky felt. Silky smooth and fun. Let's see if that sequel bait at the end plays out.

It's a perfectly well done casual collect-athon for a younger audience.

A simple, fairly forgettable platformer. But when everything's said and done, I had fun, the fox is cute, and there's a handful of characters in one level based on The Fantastic Four for some reason, so there's that.

It's not exactly the most challenging platformer out there, but it's cute and charming and it plays well. The bonus levels all being either annoying marble levels or surprisingly confusing statue puzzles does bring the experience down though, along with how every boss is the same exact "dodge a ton of projectiles, maybe hit a few enemies they summon, hit, repeat until dead".

When I first picked up this game in the tail end of 2019, I was in love with it from the first level alone. The reason why I never completed it until 2021 was because I was still busy playing other games.

The characters are adorable (Lucky & Lyra are the best). Almost every level you play is a blast. But sometimes there are some moments where the game suffers from a few 'sour patches'. For example, some of the bosses can be basic and some of the puzzles can be hard if your not a puzzle person.

But if you want to play one of the best indie 3D platformers, the New Super Lucky's Tale is the game to go for.

Jogado no Xbox Game Pass.

I really don't know why I decided to play this right after the original, but I did. It actually does improve on quite a few aspects, namely the controls and movement. Level design is much improved as well, characters are given more personality to them and some of the levels are no longer just plain boring. It's not a complete masterpiece by any means, but it's a step up from the original and would probably be even more fun to complete if you never played the first one. A decent platformer.

hella cute! And kinda short imo but it's alright because each world is memorable. I liked the stone puzzles.

A short but fun 3D platformer. Lots of cute characters and good level design.

Very easy platformer. The last levels in Foxington are harder and more enjoyable. Probably too many slide puzzles. For some reason one of the achievements is glitched so im just missing one.

The puzzles, the platforming, everything comes together almost perfectly to create a fantastic game.
I tend to ignore the story in games like these but, for this one, I was really interested in the hints of backstory/lore sprinkled here and there throughout, and by the end I was eager to find out more, only for the game to end :(
My one teeny tiny complaint would be about the camera actively not helping with my lack of depth perception, and Lucky's unnecessarily wiiiide arc when you turn him to the side - I really struggled with some narrow platforms in the 3D levels because of this.

A cutesy 3D platformer that plays it safe, but is a good time if you are craving something short & easy.

I don't like it much, slide puzzles were probably the best part

This was a pretty fun game. Nothing great, but it was a fun time, until the end where it got genuinely hard and I was dying...a lot. Some of the levels are a bit too big, and the auto-run levels suck, some of the marble levels are unfair, and some of the statue puzzles are too tricky for their own good, but for the most part, it is an enjoyable game. Not necessarily a great "kids first platformer," because it gets way too hard at the end for that, but this is a good early platformer for kids to play that adults will get some enjoyment out of as well due to fluid movement and some pretty fun challenges throughout.

A completely fine baby's first platforming collectathon videogame. It wears its influences on its sleeve. The game could've used a movement option that made you faster. Shoutouts to the all the great wrestling references.

Lucky is a generic but cute and well-designed protagonist that has the simple goal to collect a bunch of pages from a book to reunite worlds that got split up.

The villans are a bunch of cats that make far too many meow jokes for healthy consumption, they are also plain and generic and I've no idea where the fuck they come from and what motivates them to do all this stupid shit they do.

It would have been a lot more interesting if they used the voice acting a few more times than just at the beginning and at the end. They had voice actors but never used them...? The reason I'd want more voice acting is because of the boring-ass characters saying stupid shit that you don't want to read. There is this bunny in a level that goes on and on and on and on, by the end, you have gotten yourself multiple cerebral hemorrhages.

The good thing is that it feels good and looks decent when playing and the platforming is fine.

game would be amazing if it had any sense of difficulty or interesting level design. it is an extremely by the numbers 3d platformer with some super responsive feeling controls and an adorable artstyle. it is indie game the indie game.

Baby's First 3D Platformer. muy bueno y muy fácil de hacer el 100%, de hecho hasta animo a que lo hagais porque si no os pasais el juego en dos horas lol

New Super Lucky's Tale is a solid little platformer. That sounds a bit condescending, I'm sure, but I was incredibly impressed. I went in expecting nothing, and I left with a game that kept calling me back. I can't wait to see what comes next for Lucky. An easy recommendation for anyone who likes platformers.

É muito bem feitinho, não se destaca realmente em nada mas foi feito com muito carinho e da pra divertir quem gosta de plataforms
