It's not hard to see why this is the best FromSoft souls game. The world design I think is the best in the series, the combat flows well with how the weapons transform, a lot of the bosses aren't really that great, but the good bosses are VERY good. The story is also the best in the series, if you care about that. This was the first souls game I played and I wouldn't really recommend it for a first, but man, this game has always been an absolute blast to play.

I don't even really know how to begin this one. The story was interesting during the first half until it threw it all away by disc 3. The Junction system was pretty strange at first but it's not really difficult thing to figure out. Drawing/Stocking magic sucks ass. The villain just... exists. The final fight was pretty cool though, but it also goes into how the combat feels more fun by the end when you've stocked all the magic you need. Overall though I did enjoy this game, but it's for sure something I wouldn't play again for a while.

'Tis been 7 years since I last played this game, I considered it my favourite game at that time as well. It's a pretty great adventure. Never feels like it drags on which is surprising considering the amount of "detours" it feels like you have to do to continue. Not really too big of a fan of 100%ing this game though. A lot of the Heart Pieces felt slapped around the place, Poes were annoying because you can't change the time of day and they only appear at night. I also didn't end up going for the Wii U exclusive stuff. Consider it as me technically 100%ing the GameCube and Wii version lol. Overall, this game is a pretty amazing time, I always have trouble ranking Zelda games. This series means a lot to me.

Actually ended up liking this a bit more. I still think it's easily the most skippable part of the trilogy though. I decided to actually use Expert Mode during this playthrough and it helped a lot more being at an appropriate level for the main story events, by lowering a few levels below certain Unique Monsters and Fogbeasts. The side quests are also not very interesting. Overall I still consider this somewhat of a mixed bag when it comes to the overall experience, probably wouldn't play again, at least for like 10 years or something.

I've been wanting to replay this whole trilogy since Future Redeemed came out and I've figured I'd start. Going back, this game is still great but the flaws start to feel a lot worse after playing the other games. This game excels in its storytelling and has been the reason why it's been regarded so highly over the last decade. Even after I've grown to love the more character-driven narratives of the other games, this game still has a pretty great narrative. My only problem is that the story does focus way too hard on the plot twists, which on the first playthrough are pretty shocking, but on replays, get very numb when you realize how obvious the clues feel. It kinda makes me happy that they've kinda stopped doing plot twists and focused more on characters, but I'd be down to see them try again.

Most of the flaws come from the gameplay of course. The biggest problem with the combat is for sure the A.I not being very good, like, at all. Shulk, Melia, Riki, and Sharla are all terrible on A.I. Situationally, Shulk and Sharla would be fine, but I'd never use Melia and Riki on A.I ever. Something else I feel like is quite lacking in this game compared to the others is the exploration. Areas are massive, but never have anything to do in them if you're not doing quests. Xenoblade 2 started placing Treasure Troves around the map, and they would sometimes have very useful items, which gave an incentive to explore more.

Speaking of quests, this game is quite brutal to 100%. Side quests will expire and become unavailable to accept or complete after certain story moments (mostly at the end of the game), and whole ass areas will become inaccessible. Try and 100% this game without looking anything up!

I've felt very torn of exactly how I feel about this game when it comes to reflecting on the entire series. But after replaying it I think I'd still place it above Xenoblade 3, but we'll see after I play that again I guess.

I honestly beat this just last night and decided to just.. BEAT IT AGAIN! It's a fantastic game. Very short, I can easily do it in under 3 hours now, but it really is just a fun game to just go back to and do better. I'm still yet to do a sub-10 day run, this playthrough was 12 days. I hope the next Pikmin game brings back a strict day limit again. Pikmin 3's juice system is a nice mechanic for it, but I kinda want to experience a strict limit again in a new game.

Absolute blast of a game. You can see exactly what made this game as special as it was for its time. It's not exactly linear but it's still fairly straightforward for what you're supposed to do, I did stumble a bit on where to go at a couple of points near the end though. The Materia system is also a really fun customization feature. The story and characters are pretty incredible for its time too.

The new 2.2 update genuinely brings this up to an 8/10 game. Platformer mode is such a fun new addition. I've been actively playing this game since 2017 and recently I've kinda fallen out of it a bit because I've wanted to spend time playing other games. This update is kinda bringing me back though. Really fun stuff.

It's definitely a step-up from BOTW, though only by a bit, I do put the games right next to eachother on a rating scale. The story I think is slightly worse than BOTW's story, both suffer for being stories told through memories, but ToTK suffers from continuity errors throughout its plot. It does make sense, since this games purpose was not to continue the story, but to just have an excuse to add more to this world. And yes, it is the same map, but there are plenty of new discoveries to find.

Pikmin 2 for horror fans. Just plain, dumb fun with friends.

better than the battle royale

An incredibly fun rhythm game disguised as a brawler. Although you don't NEED to attack on-beat, it still is a very fun idea that was executed pretty well. The whole style of this game, the vibrant and expressive characters, and the great level design make this a game that I would say was "made for me."

Same rating as the other games but it is by FAR the best one. The story was well told, the combat felt more fleshed-out, and even the side content was the most enjoyable. Ran into a couple of minor bugs but my experiences don't get tarnished that easily.

Insanely fun to play. Not as hard as I thought it would have been (although they did nerf 2 bosses) and I did also get the worst ending which resulted in getting my ass kicked. I will continue playing for a better ending but man this was an enjoyable experience.
