Congratulations to this game for crossing the incredibly low bar of Non-Binary representation who isn't a robot or weird alien

I'm not even kidding

Elden Ring could not do what Kirby does but Kirby can do what Elden Ring can do any day of the week.

They say if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life.

So believe me when I say, I fucking love playing this game but levelling up the Battle Pass genuinely feels like a soul-crushing 9-5

This prequel, which for the last 2 hours is about magical necromancers raising the dead and BJ Blazkowics having to fight hordes of Zombies and a big video game final boss fight against a giant Zombie Monster, ends with your squadmate Fergus turning to BJ and saying, (and I quote)

"You sure killed that big fucking monster proper, BJ, But the biggest monster is still out there"

Referring to the very real threat of the Nazis in The New Order, the game that takes place literally right after this in a brutalist alternate timeline that has no mention of zombies or magic or necromancy anywhere.

This is all canon.

Thank you "Nintendo" for the "Review Copy"

outside of the very opening and the post credits scene, There is a single cutscene where more than 2 characters have a conversation at once in this ensemble cast Sonic game.

I have never played a game I had felt so passionately about recommending to other people

until the ending which genuinely makes me wonder if I would recommend this to anyone

The Song "One Winged Angel" is made infinitely better if you just imagine instead of the choir singing latin that they are singing about a very funny hat

like at the breakdown at about 3 minutes and 21 seconds just sing
Funny Funny Funny Hat, Very Very Funny Hat

A contemporary criticism that popped up a lot for the second game was that it was too short.

So it's nice to know that Rockstar really took that critique to heart by making a game that feels like it lasts forever where nothing fucking happens

Illusive Man: does something obviously shady that endangers Shepard's crew and the mission

Shepard: "what the fuck was that, cunt?"

Illusive Man: "you fucking idiot Shepard you simply do not understand why I'm doing this, go fuck yourself, I'm good, I promise"

Shepard: "oh okay, love you, hooroo"
And then it's just that for 40 hours

Games fun tho

incredibly elated to report that, much like the game itself, the launch trailer of this game (Set to grunge classic Bullet With Butterfly Wings by The Smashing Pumpkins.) goes so fucking hard.

There is a moment at the end of the games much talked about first musical section (Initiation 4 - We Sing) where we see Alan turn back towards the massively self indulgent song and dance literally all about him and smile to himself, implying that, despite being a literal nightmare, there is a part of Alan that genuinely enjoys the self centered torment of The Dark Place.

I have thought about this one tiny note of Ilka Villi's performance more than I have like 90 percent of AAA video game narratives combined.
