Solidly better than most of the following 2d games. This holds up really well.

Dog ass. Super boring, only worth playing for birdo.

Pretty great. Too many autoscrollers, other than that it's better than the first one.

super short, barely works, pretty funny. Play it because it will take like a half hour and you'll remember it forever.

It's super overated. I like it, but it's not as good as 1 or 3. It's super easy and the cape is busted.

The best 2D game in the whole series. Basically perfect.

Decent enough. I like the art design. But the game is way too easy and the open format flattens out the difficulty curve until the very end, until it suddenly spikes at the very end.

People who say Mario 64 has aged poorly are dumb babies. Its movement is still the standard we hold all 3d games to. Yeah the camera is bad, who cares.

The hardest game in the whole series and not for good reason. It is frustrating and generally very oddly designed. There's good stuff in here, I like the movement, but most of the game is kinda bad.

The NSMB games have been so run into the ground that going back to them feels like inhaling cardboard. This first one is pretty decent though.

One of the very best platformers ever made. It's like if Mario was in the last arc of Gurren Lagann and that fucking rules.

It's like the DS game but with two many autoscrollers and worse level design because it has to accommodate four players at once. It made me and my siblings fight so much as kids that my parents had to hide the game from us.

I still like it quite a bit, but not as much as Galaxy 1. It misses a lot in terms of presentation and more open levels. Yoshi is cool though.

Is this game even real? I beat it and I still don't know.

I actually think this one is the best of the NSMB games. It just has generally better designed levels and my favourite of the 30 billion flying powerups. Still kinda whatever.
