Very satisfying mystery that is held back by some very amateur writing. The ‘good’ ending is so mind numbingly corny that I’m docking it a star.

2022

Such a fascinating experiment- they jumped through a ton of hoops to make this story possible, and to ensure everything fit together....but I was left wondering: why?

Enabling users to make decisions in previous games that will effect their future is a very cool idea- but looking back, I'm not sure if it really made the story or gameplay feel any richer.

Held back by an absolutely nonsensical story.

Holy shit the mako control suck

Always genuinely shocked when a video game has good dialogue and (kinda) fleshed out characters .

This game was very....playable. Like all assasins creed, they have opted for 'more' story instead of 'good' story

The plot is borderline nonsensical, and the social commentary is tepid at best.

I loved the mechanic, and the narrative is compelling…..but it’s very hard taking the plot seriously when the movies-within-the-game are so…bad.

Cool premise and game mechanics, but didn’t find the characters or plot to be engaging at all

First resident evil game- loved how weird and campy all of it was

This review contains spoilers

This is like mashing up Stanley parable and beginners guide into one game- weirdly serious at the end…

Bugs aside, the level of craft in every inch of this game is astounding. Its too bad it was wasted on such lackluster gameplay and story. Just such a miserable nihilistic narrative with absolutely nothing interesting or compelling to say about..anything

I really loved the explorative, meditative nature of the outer wilds- but man this stealth stuff want not for me.

this hole was made for me
