Honest masterpiece in every regard. Exploring the abandoned world of hallownest felt great. Combat is simplistic but deep, with the bosses being some of the best in the industry. Fun characters you feel for when you learn of their pasts. A must have if you own the system that can run it (Fun fact: you do)

Great game. Easily one of the best stories I've seen in a game. All of the characters both in and out of the real world were interesting and charming, and it's themes of mental health and loss are greatly explored. Exploring the map was fun even if searching for the keys was a bit tedious. Gameplay was quite fun in boss fights but very 'mash a to win' outside of that. Would greatly recommend

One of the best controlling games I've ever played. Mario is a joy to play as, as are the various characters he can control. The worlds are all great takes on standard Mario stages, such as the Mexico inspired sand kingdom or the mechanical forest kingdom. Only real issue is how easy the main game is compared to something like Galaxy, with only the endgame having any real meaty challenge. Overall, it was a joy to play

A very good game with a few glaring issues. Gameplay is great, with the stylishness of the game and stellar soundtrack adding to the satisfaction of hitting enemy weaknesses. With multiple great characters (and Morgana) adding to your school life and great confidants, even if a lot have problems caused by one or two people you fight in the metaverse later in a decent attempt to tie into the games main theme of fighting corrupt authority, even if it means you don't help the characters in question overcome character flaws as much as previous Persona games. The main story is fine even without any real decent villains outside of people who are dicks for the sake of it (Although the 4th and 6th palaces stray away from this somewhat and are better for it) with fun gameplay minus the 5th palace which is terrible. While the battles are fun like I mentioned, the game is very easy due to this being the first game where doing social links gives perks for the dungeons, which the game doesn't balance very well. The game also has conflicting messaging at times such as ending the first dungeon with 'putting people in uncomfortable sexual situations bad' and then starting the second dungeon by doing basically that. I would recommend, however. Especially this version, with an amazing final dungeon and adding to Akechi really well

Great game to anyone with even a passing interest in Spiderman. Web swinging around the city feels great, with a fun story which is an excuse to fight Spiderman's most iconic enemies, plus a few not known to the mainstream such as Mr. Negative. The city itself feels very alive, with the game constantly spawning crimes and villains to fight. Only issues are the game encouraging stealth on the base assault missions only for it to usually spawn more guys who see you instantly, as well as the several parts where you have to play As MJ or Miles in stealth sections which aren't fun at all and drag down the entire experience. That aside, I would recommend for any superhero fan

I HATE GAMING JOURNALISM I HATE GAMING JOURNALISM I HATE GAMING JOURNALISM
Also the game is fun I guess. I like it when the funny Bandicoot spins and goes 'woah!'

Absolute blast to play. A great cast of characters even if some have elements or running jokes that go on for too long (cough-Yosuke-cough) fun dungeon crawling gameplay and probably the only modern persona game to have a good main villain (royal too I guess but that was a rerelease) Great themes of self-discovery with social links that are greatly enjoyable and tie in very well to it. Only real flaw is the game's secret final dungeon which feels tacked on and doesn't really tie into anything. Highly recommended to any JRPG fan

Loved it. Great combat with the rolling health system and fun characters with some genuinely great moments. Being a game from 1994 not everything has aged exceptionally well. The game can be a bit obtuse on where to go next at times, and has a lot of pace killers such as the camera man randomly showing up and taking several seconds to let you progress, and even saving the game can be a slog. Other than that, great game

A masterpiece at the time that has still aged quite well. Highly recommend

Amazing story told in a way that only the medium of video games can achieve, if held back by somewhat boring gameplay. Highly recommend to any visual novel fan or even someone interested in games as an art form

It was fun back then and still fun now. Beauty in simplicity

Great game. Great and well thought out characters that are fun to customize with the revamped class system. The stories of all 4 routes have great moments and develop the world well, even if some of that is ruined by (actually there was a fourth really evil house that did SO MUCH messed up shit you wouldn't even believe it.) and some of the maps not being as complex as previous FE games to account for the class system. Another issue is the game looking VERY outdated graphically on the basis of using an engine meant for an entirely different genre. It still remains my favorite FE game to date, and a great experience for any JRPG fan

My absolute favourite game of all time. Everything about it is great. The story is a great tale of revenge and the repetitive nature of history. The open world feels great to explore and discover with is encouraged by the many great sidequests, which have an interaction chart that lets you log how you impact the world around you, adding to the immersion. While the combat isn't the best, it's not bad enough to ruin any other aspect of the game. The only real flaw I can say is how easy it is, with even a little sidequesting overleveling you to the point of taking out encounters in a matter of seconds. But again, it's my favourite game of all time, and highly recommended.
