Deserves the rating just for getting me into Synthwave

The first game I played on my favourite console of all time, and cemented the MGS franchise as one of the all-time greats, and that's as if the first 3 already hadn't made a convincing enough argument.

In my top 10 of all time. Such a classic

MGS2-4 are a streak of near-perfect games and I can't put into words how much I appreciate them.

The original often gets overlooked but it's still a fantastic game in it's own right.

My hands hurt after playing this but I'll be damned if it's not one of the best games of the generation

A minimalistic masterpiece.

Campaign is a 7.5 and as a sandbox it's an 8.5/10. Great game overall!

Pretty good, but didn't have enough in it to keep me committed. An event will interest me enough to hook me back in at some point, but it's in the backlog for now

I didn't play the original sonic games till I was a teen, and it was nice to see this game both innovate and stay true to its predecessors

I keep coming back to this after almost 15 years. Such a good game.

The first game I bothered to finish the National Dex in. The snow areas weren't all that bad but I could do without the swamp.

Master class in platforming

Aged somewhat poorly due to pacing issues and feature creep. The physical/special split not being in this game kneecapped so many team-building opportunities.
