This game is severely underrated.

Mid shooter, hold a button and dodge the slowest projectiles ever to be shot at you. Includes a rotation gimmick where you can only rotate in one direction and also doesn't impact the gameplay at all. Skip this one.

The variety in the story makes it all extremely replayable. The new area is also a lot of fun to explore

Decent puzzle game. Really easy to beat. Puzzle fighter is bert34

Everything in my previous review is still true about the story, which I think is a masterpiece and is phenomenonal cyberpunk story. It's a very heady game about death, coming to terms with it, and a game with many other philosophical challenges. But before 2.0 the gameplay was fine with the only thing pushing me forward was my love for the characters. Now I'm having a lot of fun. The core of combat feels the same but it no longer has these things holding you back like health being limited, grenades being limited. Building a character is a lot more customizable and forgiving too. The combat variaty is great, I really like doing the netrunner stuff now.

Anyways games very good now.

Imagine if halo was a good videogame. Okay but now you can summon a mech.

This game is just awesome. The single player is worth it alone, but the multi-player is an all timer for myself

This is peak Bethesda. I think this is the most RPG heavy game they've made in a while. RPG heavy in the sense you can actually roleplay and create a character. For a first in a Bethesda game I was able to talk out of the last fight.

No major bugs that break the game. The game itself however feels dated already. It feels like a game that would be a all time classic in 2016. A lot of design philosophies displayed in this game have gone the way of the dinosaur in recent years (sections where you follow a NPC and you run faster than them and walk slower NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE). If any other company would release this game it wouldve been a shit show, but bethesda gets a pass.

Bethesda games have a weird charm that you just can't emulate in other companies. Fromsoft has that fromsoft aura and Bethesda has it's aura. I can see this game being a slow burn for it's fanbase.

I liked the game a lot, I expect to play it for many years to come and it is absolutely not a GOTY contender for myself lmfao

Congratulations to from soft for making my favorite game of the year for two years in a row.

Edit: I have finally finished my first playthrough of armored core 6 and I think it's unironically perfect. I'm not sure why it has a average of 8/10 I feel like armored core is just a franchise that will always be snubbed despite being exactly what it sets out to do. The story didn't feel weak to me, I got emotional during parts and I need to stress it all is lifted by the phenomenal voice acting. You never see a human face in this game but you are able to imagine them.

Here's the just, if you want a fast paced mech game where you need to strategically pick your load outs and tinker constantly with your builds, ending up with something that completely fits your play style? This is what you want.

Embarrassed to be an arkane stan

The last few hours of the game is when I realized I was wrong about this game entirely. It is not "just the first 6 hours of ff7 stretched out" this is a new experience on its own. It has its own narrative about breaking out of destiny and to face the unknown with courage. Final fantasy 7 remake is not a remake of the first few hours of the game, instead it's almost like the rebuild series of Evangelion. You can go into this game and experience it and still love it, but to understand it on another level it's worth playing the original final fantasy 7.

This is not a easy 5/5 for me. I think in repeat playthroughs the rating may go down, but the issue is that as the game went on I fell in love with the combat more and more. The game was super easy on normal, but maybe the hard mode I unlock will really let the combat system shine. Yet still it has some major flaws. There is some major pacing issues. There is filler but I think it's good filler, it's fun and entertaining but someone who is hooked on the story may find it annoying. The acting is extremely corny - I think this is a positive but a lot of people will not. This game is very very japanese too, which to some can be a turn off. I used the English dub and next go through will be in Japanese. However I can tell in the mocap that it's very, Idk how else to say it anime? They do the uns, the hmms, the little shocked grunts etc etc. If you don't like dubbed anime this may be a annoying sit through, I loved it I think the casting was phenomenal and everyone played their parts perfectly. This is all tastes stuff.

The last few hours of the game really hit the spot. It reminded me why final fantasy 7 may be the best final fantasy.

This is the ugliest, most digusting, grotesque, and vile game I've ever played. There's a giant enemy in the game that sounds like a 2015 era "ear rape" meme. There's songs that are 100% just snare loops being sped up. A flower made of human flesh crawls at you in the dark and spits bile. Someone no longer a person changed their form into a fleshy cube. Its a visual assault on the senses.

9.5/10

Everyone says Chrono Trigger is the best game on the SNES and they are correct. However, actually, the best game on the SNES is Super Metroid. Somewhat of a semi remake of metroid 1 it also some what concludes the story (until fusion and dread). The atmosphere in the game is inspired, the music and sound design is iconic. I know mario and zelda are considered the big franchises with Nintendo and it does suck ass that metroid has always been a red-headed step child in ways with them. If you haven't played this you absolutely should, its included with the switch online just play it.

Had my fun, but overall this was a cool experience that felt half assed. I had to do way to much to mod it to make it enjoyable. I bought this for 10 dollars and I wouldn't spend more than that. Disgusting the price they launched at.

Worth giving a shot if your a big final fantasy fan and want to see where the games came from. This game gives you absolutely no guidance, and that is the point. Try to avoid a guide when you can. Just go out explore. It's no perfect by any means though, the monster encounter rate is way too high for it to be fun. More often than not this game starts to become a survival horror as you see your supplies dwindle as you go against another set of slimes.

I did not play Final Fantasy 2 - I will post another review for it.
