Finally played sekiro I felt like this was gonna be the fromsoft game that would click with me the most and I was right this shit fucks. Outside of some still pretty asinine/Archaic design in this game this is probably the pinnacle action experience for me with its gameplay and bosses

Finally Played Hi-Fi Rush after wanting too since it originally came out and yeah its fucking bangs. I think the character beats are kinda rushed towards the end but this game is just an overall blast to play im so glad I finally got to experience it.

Lost Judgement replay. This game is basically the zenith of RGG games in like every way Side Content, Combat, and World all just perfected here so I can really only talk about the story. The antagonist in this game fucks hard and it does a good job at portraying Yagami's personal Investment in the case after Judgement's events. It also does a good job of portraying all the different angles of people doing things for a righteous reason in one way or another. But parts of the story do kinda rub me the wrong way with a certain characters handling Cause on one hand I get it how it ties into judgement and thats why Yagami is so devout about this but also it just kinda feels like whenever the conversation of it comes up Yagami pulls out the same card every time and its notable cause the same thing kinda happens in judgement. But idk overall I think its a good handling of the subject matter where its more about fighting for personal ideals than without a real completely correct answer and its done really effectively in the game. Also the name for this game and how it ties into the story fucks really hard

Played Crisis core reunion and it was pretty good. The genesis and Hollander stuff were pretty nothing to me. But seeing Zack's journey and his relationship establishment with Cloud, Aerith, and sephiroth was really cool. Its ending is also like perfect. What mostly confuses me about this game is that it directly spoils a plot point in FF7 that will probably be in remake so its confusing to see how they will handle that. Also the voice acting can be weird. Zack's va is odd but I got mostly use to him. I guess its cause it was a psp game but dialogue can feel really stilted from time to time when playing which really bugged me

FF7R Intermission. Real good dlc in introducing the character of yuffie and creating an original story for her fun traversal, fun gameplay and all that can't wait to see her appear in rebirth

Replayed FF7R it was a fun game I definitely appreciate it more after playing og but I feel like just due to the amount of padding present it generally brings down the experience but makes me more excited for rebirth since they have alot more to work with. To go more in depth I think this game does really well in adding depth and expanding the Midgard section I think making the first game on just sectio that was a great idea but the things they do increase the runtime for the very short midgar section in og is varying in quality. Character wise across the board it is fucking phenomenal it really breaths new life into the characters. Chapter 4 was a great addition with adding depth to the rest of avalanche was great. And for the characters thar actually mattered in og I think aerith got it the best. Like in og she was pretty good but remake they were really able to give her alot more quirks to her personality and mannerisms to make her alot more charming barret was pretty good too with more exploration of his Shinra conflict. And Tifa was also good at this point of the game she didn't really get stuff in og but they do well at making her an enjoyable character with 3 dimensional personality. Cloud was also really good but imo that was a given. Oh shit yeah also I really like how in this game they developed a friendship between Tifa and aerith they don't interact much in og so it was nice to see. Now when comes to the other stuff it's more mixed. The new gameplay sections like with chapter 4 and chapter 9 are great they usually fun and add to the world. But there is also like just areas that feel really unnecessary like the train and sewer dungeons. I'm sure for much they annoy you varies from person to person I didn't mind them as much this time around but imo there are way to many sections like that that just make the game more of a mixed bag to me. But it does also make sense considering what they were doing remake but still kinda brings it down for me. Story stuff now. Tbh overall I really dig the direction the amount of times the whispers show up can get kind of grating cause I get the idea but sometimes it just seems like the times they pop are very inconsistent for the story reasoning. But after playing og this direction fills me with much intrigue and excitement for what they are going to do now even if there is a slight worry they might muddle/change some already great stuff from og but it's still very interesting. So like tldr after playing og remake is a very interesting game one that does alot in adding depth to the world and characters in ways I like but seems like parts of the game are artificially Inflated leading to annoyances. But by the end the ending leaves me with nothing but excitement for the future and what they are gonna do with the rest of the narrative I'm so excited and interested to see where it goes I'm really glad they took this direction. OH SHIT YEAH THE MUSIC AMD VISUALS IN THIS GAME ARE SO GOOD. Like even at the beginning the game was popping off music wise and sometimes I just looked at barrets model and said damn he looks so good it is a given but this game looks fucking amazing

Beat FF7. Real gaming. Always heard the reputation this game has and now after playing it I get it. It has its issues like personally It isnt very good clarifying where to go and how some pretty important shit is relegated to optional stuff but the storytelling is pretty amazing. Like I only ever really knew about like midgar section of FF7 but everything after it is very good. I especially love what they did with Cloud and Tifa. Also the presentation even if dated at times is fucking amazing at capturing atmosphere most of the time. Gameplay Wise I cant really speak Since I cheated through most of it. I like how they gave me the 3x and op button to make grinding faster that was nice also just general movement quicker. Like my only real major complaint that I mentioned before is that the secret character stuff is so fucking bizarre they are honestly really good addition but it sucks that all of their story stuff is basically relegated to obcurish side stuff rather than main story. Some if it is genuinely really important too like with vincent's backstory and seeing more of the turks in yuffie's stuff I just hope in remake they integrate those two into the main story effectively rather than being weirdly sudo canon to the main story. Erm yeah I think thats it overall. The stuff they did with aerith was cool. And I do now like tifa who knew it takes actually playing the game she comes from to and learning her story is what's needed to understand and enjoy a character

Played oneshot really neat cool little game. Game provides a pretty unique concept with a killer atmosphere pretty visuals and likeable characters the ending is also very cool I liked it alot. Also Played One shot solstice. Actually speechless peak fiction

Played Steins gate and holy shit was is amazing. It's first half was interesting with its characters and premise but when it starts the second half with the actual time travel it goes to new levels of kino. The way it was able to display and mental state of okabe going through the entire ordeal was fantastic it was even presented in a way where I started feeling the same way he did having to do the same thing over and over again. All of the mystery elements were also fantastic. Its able to capture such a melancholic tone while having the lighter elements balance it out in such a good way making a deeply engaging experience. The alternate endings are also really cool my favorite one is prob faris is hits the perfect spot of bittersweet for me. The voice actors also pop off in this especially Okabe's. I have always been bad at really making concise thoughts on stuff but in short Steins Gate is fucking next level time travel? story that kept me sucked in from start to finish couldn't recommend it enough.

So I beat steins gate 0 and its uh pretty good? If you ask me it is not even close to the quality of steins gate its more a fairly mixed experience with a very very good ending to me. Im usually not good with making concise thoughts but its even harder with games Im more mixed on but I will try. When it comes to this game its not that any ideas presented are really bad its just that in its more nonlinear style in comparison to the first game its alot messier. The premise is absolutely excellent but it feels like when it comes to expanding the world it kinda branched away from the things I really liked about the first game with its more linear narrative. It's not like its written bad either really its just that to me. it rarely reaches the emotional connection the first could do excellently. I can understand why people say this game is more depressing than og but I honestly didn't really feel the same way just do to the more unfocused nature of it making it harder to grab me. The new characters are like fine. The best one is Maho who is probably the most complex new addition and I liked her her complex about how she felt about kurisu was very interesting even if the mozarts stuff was kinda heavy handed for me.The others on the other hand are just um fine I guess? Kagari is a thing that exists and shes like fine? Honestly wish I could have more of an opinion bit she just really isn't much to talk about for me she avoided being irritating to me but shes like eh. Some of the other new ones had a really obvious twist attached and I wouldn't call it especially interesting either. The stuff with fubuki was actually very interesting and I wish we got to see more of her side of that. But when it comes to the returning cast that stuff is actually creme le croupe. Daru in the first game was pretty whatever BUT HERE GOAT hes so goat in this one. The suzuha stuff is also really good its tied in with daru. There with like specifically two scenes that got me really good and that is one scene with with kirusu (Real one) and a scene with Mayuri it really showed the quality of the character writing for those characters it was just so amazingly written and it was just so fucking good. Its just its hard to explain but those scenes were so masterfully done with how its shows the conflict within a character but also the resolve JUST FUCKING AH SO GOOD I CANT EXPLAIN THE EMOTIONS IT MADE ME FEEL. Now when it comes to the man the the myth the depressed one himself he was also very good his emotional state is very realistic and very interesting his character culmination also makes for one of the hypest endings ever in ever. So like tldr Steins gate 0 is a game I wish I liked more its still fairly good but I feel like it had the potential to live up to the first one and sometimes it does but due to its nonlinear approach and more complicated nature I feel like I just doesn't live up to the first one. Its ending is absolutely incredible tho and ties into the first game perfectly. I feel like if this game trimmed down itself more letting more focus be put on the characters and alot less of the government fight for time travel stuff it would be better offIts ending is absolutely incredible tho and ties into the first game perfectly. I feel like if this game trimmed down itself more letting more focus be put on the characters and alot less of the government fight for time travel stuff it would be better off

Replayed AA JFA. Pretty good probably not as good as the first but it brings great stuff to the franchise and its final case is absolutely fucking masterclass

Beat AA trials and tribulations. Really good game that ties up basically everything in the trilogy in a meaningful manner. Also stand alone has really good character work mystery and is just really fun even if I feel like it was a tad too obtuse at times

Replayed Twewy and it was pretty good. I adore it when it comes to gameplay experience the things it does it so unique and tied in very well to its own themes. Story wise it is also very well put together but I think I actively ruined the pace with how much I pin grininded. I do think regardless how tighly knit this story is with characters and its themes and its progression for neku is very good and its easy to see why a story like this spoke to so many people. Didn't really do that for me but Still real good regardless

Neo twewy second replay. Made me to be able to re analyze the game and my feelings on it and yeah still saved my life peak gaming. I really like how its builds up everything to culminate at the end it's also just really creative with gameplay systems with an amazing ost. The character writing is just so good and replaying made me so I could see even more layers than I saw the other times just peak gaming def still my number 1

Played through RE2R and it was real good. Has a really good grip of atmosphere and tension had me on the edge of my seat on so many occasions. The puzlles are also fairly cool. My only complaints would be I don't really know why this game has bosses. It doesn't really seem like the type of game that needs them William is also fairly annoying every time you do fight him so I don't think the bosses were needed. And I the way the clair and leon stuff is structured is kinda cool but they never really fully commit to having. The storylines like coexist and intermingle cause they had to reuse content and I think that's kind of lame could have gone further with the idea but overall real good game
