Pure, un-adulterated, Disney-less Star Wars bliss and perfection.

I've never fallen more in love with a cast of characters. The dichotomy between the player's relationships with confidants and the game's mechanics in and out of its incredible turn-based combat system constantly tempt me to replay this for another 100 hours.

Shockingly, I never got sick of the soundtrack after all that time and to this day still go out of my way to queue up some of this game's banger tracks.

Where did the Final Fantasy go?

The Hoenn region is one of the closest things I can call a fictional "homeland". With the introduction of double battles, excellent new Pokemon designs (including epic legendaries), and a post-game like no other (the Battle Frontier); Pokemon Emerald is the series damn near its finest and I will never not want to start another run through the Hoenn region.

2018

This game made me care about a roguelite.

What if a game was just weird, cool, and fun as hell?

This is the super hero game I always wanted growing up.

Incredible story, open-world, traversal mechanics, combat, etc. - my only gripe is the lack of engaging side quest lines that included any other iconic characters within the Spiderverse (though the story pretty much compensates for this!).

Hey, Animal Crossing, its been a while.

I know I don't play you often anymore; nevertheless, the 80 or so hours you entertained and immersed me during the beginning of the pandemic will never be forgotten.

Sincerely, thank you. Never in my life has such a game come out at just the perfect time. This rating is biased in no short reason due to the external factors at the time, but I could not possible possess less regret.

I almost made the stupid mistake of letting internet discourse convince me that I would regret playing this.

Emotional regret? Debatable.

TLOU2 is one of my two GOTYs for 2020. If you are or have been on the fence about this game, try it out for yourself. It may not be for you! But you will never know otherwise imo.

My "mains" are at least half of the roster.

It baffles me how dysfunctional the local / online play with friends is.

Visually, I wish Sw/Sh looked as good as this game.

Remember wild Pokemon battles? Same.

What if Fire Emblem used a similar confidant system to the Persona series but integrated it well into established mechanics without taking away from what makes the core of the series unique and iconic?

Also, what if a game had Dorothea?

I cannot express how far this game has come since its release in 2016.

Remember games before "games-as-a-service" was a thing? Same.
