i really vibe with this ost and i think it’s the perfect kind of thing to fit with a puzzley kind of game like this one. some melodic electronic in the foreground while the underlying bassline keeps you energized during a stage

i enjoy the sense of wonder that most of these tracks emit. they all fit with their worlds perfectly. gonna be real i never listen to this ost outside of the game minus simple and clean. a good game ost but i don’t see it as anything more than that.

this has my favorite sonic ost alongside rush. has immaculate vibes that complement their respective worlds expertly. it’s hard to explain any further i really love this one.

favorite track: gumshoe theme (don’t remember what it’s called)

nostalgic ost. has a somewhat distinctive kinda style. investigation tracks create intrigue and the examination tracks help your brain delve deeper into the mystery of a case. good shit all around that further support the overarching emotions present in the game.

favorite track: whatever the lava world track is i have not played this game in forever

don’t remember a whole lot about this one i guess it’s a genesis/snes ost

contender for my favorite genesis ost. such great bangers and chill beats. strong other-worldly themes present within all the tracks i feel. really good stuff

all the tracks are dream-like in quality much like the rest of the game. could put this ost on any time and jam out to its more somber tracks. big fan of how the songs change based on the nightopians mood during the stage. an extra layer of depth to this already great soundtrack.

a more rock focused ost than the first game and it sounds really fuckin good. some real hard hitters here that are one of the only saving graces for this fuckin game. boss themes awesome battle themes awesome. dmc1 ost still better though as this one doesn’t really complement the more desolate and eery vibes the stages offer as the first game does.

could possibly be my favorite game ost ever. this is the soundtrack that caters to my musical tastes almost exactly. love love love this one.

i used to listen to the whole ost for hours on loop during online classes. such a prevalent atmosphere throughout every track. feels like it could be an actual album.

literally the only track i remember. sorry. i’m not a mario kart guy at all. i actually sold this game off like a month ago.

soundtrack is very ps1-ish, which i’m a big fan of. love the melancholy instruments and the more aggressive 90s trumpet-y instruments. every track is distinct. classic nobou uematsu stuff. he could totally be considered a timeless musician period.

when i first played the game i thought this was a pretty whatever ost and didn’t think much of it. now on each replay i’ve slowly been warming up to it. not my fav castlevania ost but it’s still fantastic. solidifies the vast themes of the expansive castle.
