Almost perfect game but The Depths suck balls!

2022

Perfect game until it became a FromSoftware nightmare. The Heir killed me like a 100 times.

Highly addictive gameplay with crackpot bullshit fantasy lore. Much easier than Sekiro but I still prefer the latter.

The hollowness of the open world genre is present even here, where the amazing disign can keep you busy for almost 100 hours of slashing bloodthirsty demons and god-like giants. I love the grandeur of the capital, the sadness surrounding the Great Tree and the melancholy of this diying world.

And yet... I feel no desire to play it again. Why is that?

As I said on the one hand - crackpot bullshit fantasy lore. I just don't care about the characters. I don't know them. I am not allowed to know them. On the other hand - the game keeps bringing back bosses after you've killed them, which destroys the special moment you had when you first met them. The Tree Sentinel for example was a horrific nightmare in the beginning but after killing him 5 or 6 times along the way I lost any respect.

Beautiful game. I don't feel cheated. Finished it under 82 hours. Had a great time. But the greatest game of all time? I humbly disagree.

I went to Florence with my girlfriend and we decided to play this on the road. We both had warm memories from this one.

It is perhaps the best AC game and I fucking hate it...

I don't find lady Dimitrescu sexually appealing. Sue me!

2021

Too much communism talk and the ending was a little rushed but overall: absolutly f*cking unique expirience.

I want to hit the little girl in the face.

The stairs at the end.... who put them like that?

So sad i killed the nice lady in the beginning.... :(

A gift for my girlfriend is a gift for me.

A week later my fingers still hurt.
