Peak fiction. Ichiban Kasuga is one of my favorite main characters of all time, honestly. What an incredible introduction to this series.
Better than 2016 in just about every conceivable metric. I adore how this game incentivizes you to engage with each and every one of its mechanics. I haven't played many FPS games, but I can't imagine what a better one could possibly look like.
Probably one of the best works of art I've ever experienced. It's incredibly well written, the world is wonderfully realized, and the sheer amount of options afforded to the player is astounding. I will probably be thinking about this game for the rest of my life, and no doubt going back to do a billion more runs.
