Something about this game felt very dull even if I did have fun. It's fine for what it is, I just wish it did a little more to make it worth my time. As it stands, I don't think I'll ever go back to this when Renegade Platinum exists.

Generally speaking, I think OoT does a good job at transitioning Zelda into 3D. It's undeniable that parts of this game aged poorly, but it's still fun regardless. This formula has been done better though, most games following this one have gotten Ocarina's flaws right. Its impact can't be denied, though.

This is the sequel to my favorite game ever, so there's some bias here. Nevertheless, I think NEO is a really solid continuation to the original game. The combat was made a lot better, everything is much more fun than before. This new gameplay style works really well, it feels more customizable than the first game and the end result is honestly the best part of the game for me.

The story isn't as good though. The original game had parts that felt like padding, but it's worse in here. The plot doesn't really get going until the end of Week 2, but when it gets there it's really good. It's still a bit of a mess though, and some plot elements have a lot of missed potential, but it still does a fine job at what it wants to be.

I'm kind of glad that this game wanted to do its own thing too. It's less of a continuation of the first game and more of its own story that helps answer and resolve some plot threads from A New Day, like Shinjuku and Neku's fate.

Overall, NEO is a really good followup to the first TWEWY. The main issue with the first game was fixed, but the general plot could've been better and left a lot to be desired.

Persona 3 is a tough game for me to look at, mainly because the things I like about it are really good and the things I don't like about it are really big issues. The story and themes are all so good that I can't really think of anything that I don't like about them. It doesn't really get going until after the first quarter of the game is over with, but afterwards it's great. The gameplay isn't very strong though. Exploring Tartarus feels like a chore, and while the Tactics system is a really cool concept that works for most of the time, I found myself wishing I could just control my party normally on a lot of occasions. It's not bad, but it isn't ideal. Additionally, the calendar system and social mechanics aren't well implemented, but that's just because the series made them better as it progressed. Because of that, I consider Persona 3 to be a mixed bag, and that isn't even touching on the epilogue.

Pretty standard all things considered. Atmosphere is pretty good, the story and mystery are alright, although the ending could be better. Trials are kind of boring, and the minigames in between them are just okay. Overall, it's a decent game with not much going for it.

It's an alright start to the series. I can't say I enjoy it that much though. The worlds all feel pretty boring up until the last quarter of the game, combat is pretty repetitive and there isn't much to keep me hooked. The story is pretty understandable, I think it's pretty good for what it was going for, and the ending leaves you wondering what'll happen next. All in all I think it's fine, I won't come back to it anytime soon but it does a well enough job at what it wants to do.

In terms of story, I think this is a pretty good follow-up to the first game. The mystery of this game is definitely much more interesting than the last, and although the reveal itself is cool, the climax of it all feels a little underwhelming given how it's all just a long info dump until the ending sequence starts. And while I do like the story overall, the chapters themselves are all over the place. I can't say I fully enjoyed anything before Chapter 5, and even though I like Chapter 4 the only section I liked was the trial and the one where you play as Komaed since it's really entertaining.

The gameplay is where it really flops though. Trials are longer than before, and the minigames that take place in between discussions are all unfun. I only really liked Logic Dive, but other than that they all felt boring to play.

As a whole, I find this game to be pretty mediocre. The ending is cool and all, but it isn't enough to redeem the overall experience.

Pokemon Platinum is really impressive for managing to turn an otherwise mediocre game into a great one. Encounters are all pretty varied, the music is great and overall the Sinnoh region has some of the most interesting lore and landmarks in the series. Exploring kind of sucks because of the amount of HMs, but other than that this game is really good.

Bias aside, this is a really solid entry in the series. Encounter variety isn't all that great, but the rest of the game is really good. Its pretty standard in terms of difficulty and the Hoenn region is pretty fun to explore, even if a lot of routes are water.

It's a pretty good finale for the current saga, although the plot itself feels very rushed (I haven't played Re:Mind yet, though I have heard that it helps clear some stuff up). Gameplay wise, I can't say much other than it's pretty alright. Sora feels a little weightless and floaty, but I got used to it. There's a lot of additions here to make Sora's moveset more versatile which is nice, but it makes standard encounters pretty easy. I played on Proud on my first playthrough, but I may go back to it on Critical just to see if it changes the game as much as KH2. Overall, it's decent looking back although I found it a little underwhelming. A second playthrough might change this though.

It's a solid remake that makes the Kanto region playable. Locking evolutions from gen 2 until you get the National Dex is kinda lame though.

Probably my favorite game ever. Its aesthetics and style are all stunning, it's clear the game was made to be a time capsule for 2007 Shibuya. The gameplay is sadly a little underwhelming, but I got used to it and was able to have fun with it. It isn't a style I think I can recommend to others, though, it can be a turn off for most people. Still though, I was able to enjoy it enough to continue playing it, which is something I'm glad I did. The story and themes aren't very complex, but they stick out to me personally. It's a message that personally stuck with me, and I think the game is worth playing just for that. I'm very fond of this cast, there genuinely isn't a single character I don't like. Overall, this game is a great experience, though it may be a hard sell for others.

Over-reliance on nostalgia aside, this is a pretty alright game. The controls are really smooth (aside from Modern Sonic's tank controls), and the game is peak when modded.

I haven't played the other Metroid games, so I can't really compare this to them. But this was a good time, the controls are great and exploration feels fun and rewarding.
