Ok, this is my favorite game. Gourgeous visual identity, fluid animations and a PERFECT soundtrack. Everything in this game simply... Works. From the loneliness of Dirtmouth to the eerie feeling in Deepnest, this game makes you feel a lot of things and it really messes with your emotions.

The similarities to Dark Souls were what engaged me to this at first, but i fell in love with how original a metroidvania could be, and Team Cherry is a huge part in this. Every single update, or 'DLC' if you want to call it that were free and added a LOT to the story and interesting new stuff to the game.

The initial cutscene gives you little to no information on the lore, but it adds so much to this game aesthetics. Every single character introduced to the player adds something and no one is left off. The bossfights carry a lot with them, and the SPOILER WARNING Crossroads map change is probably one of the most genious way of showing how you, The Knight, is changing the game environment with your quest.

The NPCs are charming and even if they don't have expressions, you can tell how their personalities work just by body language and what they tell you. Quirrel, my favorite NPC has an ambiguous ending (something fairly common in this game) and that, in my opinion is simply perfect. This game know how the player thinks and plays around it really well with this ambiguity in NPC dialogue, readings, visual stuff... That's Hollow Knight. Nothing is clear, nor black, nor white. Everything is gray and you are just doing what you are supposed to do.

Have i mentioned the OST is PERFECT, tho?

Holy shit, i never spent so much time in a videogame in my life. When i was hunting for all achievements, i had to finish the campaign and reset a couple of times and every single time it was a great experience, even if it was repetitive. The sidequests are not as great as the main one but it gave me somehow an 'adventurous' feeling and made everything feel more alive. Great game.

I only played the campaing and it was a great experience. Good game. Congratulations, Rockstar, Here is your cake.

The game that taught me to love videogames. It is still today a great experience, being it player in the tryhard and technical way, or just building giant dirt dicks with your friends.

Minecraft carry a lot of my memories and even the first online friends i made. I absolutely love this game and everything it represents.

I have a lot of fond memories of this game and i really had a great time playing it. Average Mario OST (which means it is great) and awesome mechanics. Rosalina is a great character, too.

This game is what evolved smash from a 'Nintendo All-Stars' to a pure celebration of gaming. "Everyone is Here" is such a powerful little phrase that yet represents so much about videogames the past decade. Overall, this title makes me really happy, and even introduced me to new franchises i never thought i would play (Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing, for example), and that's what makes this one of the biggest pillars of Nintendo.

Probably the greatest puzzle game of all time. It is awesome in all aspects possible, level design, physics, OST and even the game has its own 'charm', because of its original visual identity... And it has an awesome multiplayer mode too.

One of the best game designs, featuring charming menus and great soundtrack. It even added new stuff to the old J-RPG combat... Overall, great game, with few narrative problems.

Great game, and a great new take on videogame physics overall. I owe so much to Portal because it introduced me to the puzzle genre.

Good game, but bad fanbase. JK, really an awesome game that understood character writing... And a really marvelous OST. Thank you, Toby Fox.

This game is marvelous, and probably one of the best games i played the last decade. Mad respect to Nintendo for trying this new and refreshing look on a new franchise. It probably has the best Zelda storytelling and the leitmotifs of older games just makes this both a tribute to old TLoZ fans and a introduction to new players that are interested in the franchise. The only problem is that it is kinda easy once you get the hang of it, but even so, the DLC added new challenges that are surprisingly difficult.

Obviously one hell of a fun game. Thx Sloth's, you really did great this time.
