A rif on teenage horror films that tasks you with saving your friends from mind bending ghosts. Really though it's a game about friends trying to survive the night together, and all their teenage drama. So if that's what you're into, then you'll love this game. The dialogue is some of the most realistic I've ever seen in a game.

A beyond janky RPG that aims to be the next Bioware game but can't even match The Witcher 1. Yet in spite of its broken combat, its poorly presented heavily rushed story, it's stiff voice acting and it's low production values, this game has just enough heart and interesting ideas to push you through to the end.

A brilliant end to the World of Assassination trilogy. The gameplay is once again unchanged, save for the mostly superfluous addition of the camera. It's in the level design that 3 makes real strides, with each level offering beautiful visuals, deep multilayered reactivity and compelling self contained narratives. On the subject of narrative. the story of Hitman 3 is the best in the trilogy, wrapping up plot threads from the first game, and managing to expand Agent 47 beyond stoicism without breaking character. Hot take, I really like the last level and think it's a perfect finish.

More of the same, which is by no means a bad thing. The levels are once against all fantastic, save for the tutorial of Hawke's Bay which I don't think should've been a full level. The story suffers from middle entry syndrome though, feeling a tad rudderless in comparison to both the prior and succeeding game.

A game that tries to be a cross between Obsidian style narrative driven action light RPG and Diablo style narrative light action driven RPG. The result is a mishmash of ideas, systems and story threads that fail to capture what makes either genre great. It's a fun time, but don't expect anything special. You'll get a kick out of the weird design decisions if you're like me though.
