Honestly, it improves on a LOT of things better than it's predecessor. Better development with the main four (Ichi, Namba, Adachi, and Saeko) as well as some further developments with other characters (Seonhee being such a girfailure, girlboss and having a massive crush on Kiryu; Joonghi being a dorky stuck in a literal assassin's body, and Zhao running a restaurant to help support himself after his step down as leader), QoL improvements like being able to move in combat, and the insane amounts of detail and care that went into designing Hawaii.
That said, I will admit the main storyline for Kasuga's path is horrendously bad when in comparison to the last game. Be honest, did you care at all out Lani? I think that's what sums up my honest reaction to the main story. No caring enough. Like the bosses are a lot less memorable. Shirtless oneshot MF Tendo, Ishioda's excavator fight, curbstomping Aoki then crying about his eventual shift and realization about his familial importance to Ichiban - hell, even Kume was more memorable due to the fucking asshole he was to the main story. Now compare to Infinite Wealth, where Bryce and Ebina were HYPED up as either genius masterminds or "more monster than a man", when the most memorable aspect was their snoozefest of a monologue leading up to the fight. Don't even get me started on missed character potential. Roman, Wong Tou, even Dwight. It just sucks so much that the story takes such a huge nosedive in performance in the later half, especially with ending in the biggest cucking of character interaction between Haruto and Kiryu.
Y'know what didn't take a nosedive though? Fucking Yamai. Hooooly shit was he such a memorable and well written character. Man did they really knock it out of the park for not only did he grow as a person, but also played such a huge part in the story. Tomizawa was also such an amazingly written side character, and him and Yamai's history as well as interactions are what got me hooked to seeing more.
Anyways, enough rambling. It's a really good sequel, just wished they didn't fumble the latter half of the game so hard.

Top tier story. Minus some nitpicks it rivals that of Persona 5 Royal

No good endings in Night City.

So far it has deserves all the hype. A true successor and replacement for Bloodborne Pc. The atmosphere and enemy variety is amazing and I love the system of experimentation with different weapon handles/blades. Def a lot harder than Bloodborne too considering there is very little I-frames in the dodge and that the game pushes for an even more aggressive fighting style compared to Bloodborne. Will update more after finishing it.

A massive disappointment. Overall just a touch up on maps visually, but in doing so the trade off was that this game can't even get consistent frames, especially towards lower end computers. The smoke redesign was nice but the hit reg on bullets (ESPECIALLY the new AWP) is so frustrating. Truly a shame, was looking forward to this update.

A dogshit clusterfuck of a "game" that I can't believe I had to sit through and play. Level designs, boss fights, and even the ending twist of Bowser becoming huge through Kamek's magic were all lazily imported or didn;t even come close to matching the original Wii's level that made it so amazing. Crown powerup is fucking useless for the main group but insanely broken for one character, Nabbit can suck on my doo doo, and P Acorn breaks the game.

Ah, man. You'd think I would've learned my lesson with preordering super overhyped games after Cyberpunk 2077. I guess old habits die hard.

This game went under my radar way back when I was in high school, and watching the very first trailer released for it I was blown away not only by the various enemy varieties by also by eccentric yet memorable art direction. To be honest, I am a bit sad that they switched the art direction from this creepy survival game vibe to more of what seems live action themed one with quippy one liners and Call of Duty scenes (the crash of the train car, for example).

I will admit I did have fun exploring the map, and I will say the research complexes are the best parts - an easy way for the devs to implement and show these fucked up science experiments and to let their creative direction run wild.

Graphics are beautiful, and I will say the opening scene/area reminded me a lot of Bioshock Infinite's Columbia with introducing this fictional picturesque world before everything goes to shit.

Combat was alright, though I will admit once you utilize the Electro + Zvezdochka combo you literally win the game with the emp blast + melee swings replenish energy combo being wicked busted. Easily the most frustrating thing in this game is the repair bots system in the overworld- which pretty much mitigates any robots you've destroyed and any progress you make. And they don't even have a cooldown or limited amount to spawn in, it's literally endless until the destroyed robot is fully repaired!

I know people have already complained about the awful writing and the even worse English dubbed audio for this game, so I'm not gonna go more in - depth with it. I just want to comment on the protagonist being so fucking unlikeable - and I get that not every protagonist has to be a goody two shoes overly nice person but this dude will literally be such a dick for no reason (Like when he would ask a question to his glove companion then proceeds to get annoyed at the answer for the question he asked for in the goddamn first place.)

Lastly, I gotta talk about the endings man because fuck man did they fumble the bag. It's clear that they wanted to set the ending up to be hinting towards a sequel or something else, but fuck does it feel so rushed or they probably had something else in mind.

Honestly, not the worst game I've played however another big letdown for me. I will say that it is very impressive that Mundfish was able to create something like this as their first game though, and I actually am looking forward to potential future projects they have.

I, for one, cannot wait for the future to bring us towering dommy mommy robots

A fun and cute game with it's cast of quirky characters, strategy based potion mixing mode, high intensity card minigame, and rewarding dating sim system.

The fact that you can reset all of your friend's progress by turning into Michael Morbeus makes this game 10/10

The only thing more tedious than restocking on scrap/ammo to repair your inventory that is falling apart is getting a backpack upgrade. Lmao fuck this game

Playing this in hard mode made me lose my mind

Got worse with the amount of micro transactions. Still was pretty fun tho

2018

Everyone in this game is so hot.
