Multiplayer is still really good but single player campaign was pretty terrible.

A generic story but the characters are well acted and animated. Plenty of jump scares and decisions are fun to do with a friend/partner. Big improvement over Man of Medan.

Incredible remake with great quality of life changes. Some frustrating areas but still a fantastic entry in the Souls series.

2018

Incredible game. Characters, story, art and combat are all spectacular. Easily my GOTY 2020.

An actually funny video game! Really good writing and so many jokes come from the clever puzzles and setting. Challenge is pretty consistent but there was some puzzles that I couldn't manage without a guide.

Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for something chill.

This was just... fine. Didn't feel that scary or tense and it being more action focused was definitely to it's detriment. It's a beautiful remake but Nemesis never really felt like the stalking powerful villain he didn't in the original, or even compared to Mr X from 2 remake.

They also removed the whole clocktower section, which is a huge part of the original. As I said, it's fine but I would recommend 2 remake over this any day.

This is a really great collection of the best platformer a ever made. I wish they did a wee bit more with Mario 64 such as giving a full 3D camera but it's nice having that bit of history on Switch. Sunshine doesn't hold up as well as I remember but playing Mario Galaxy again was worth the price. Proper greatest game of all time stuff that.

A really good adaptation of the board game. It does a great job of visually representing what is happening and overall I really like the art style. Due to being early access it is still full of bugs so had to stop. Looking forward to the full release to give it another go.

This has easily become a top 3 Final Fantasy game for me. Like all RPG's it does have the odd pacing issue, but this does an excellent job of telling a wonderful standalone story while advancing the overall story that has been woven into this game since day 1.

There are a few improvements made as well to combat, story telling through the role quests and adding in NPC's to complete dungeons was great. It's hard to talk too much further without spoiling this incredible adventure. Just give it a go.

A wonderful story with some of the best writing I've seen in a video game. A tale of failing rural America with plenty of weird mystery to keep you tied to the ensemble cast. It is also filled with interesting side stories for those who want to look for it, which helps expand this world and dig deeper into the characters. Any game that still have me thinking about it days after finishing get a top recommendation from me.

Really enjoy these small games that Level 5 released on 3DS. An interesting JRPG take on classic D&D dungeon crawling. The dice rolls being used in battles, to strengthen your attack or reduce a debuff was interesting twist on what can normally be quit dull battle systems.

Overall it's a decent experience, especially for its £7 entry price. But the battles to become tired and the opaque tasks needing for progression does start to feel like a drain. Worth a go for the interesting ideas, not one I would be rushing to recommend.

I think this has some really cool ideas. The machines, combat and some of the sides quests are good fun. I just can't hack the size of the world, when it feels like nothing but traversing huge areas to speak to people to advance the main story.

It's fine, but collecting a million small items to then craft items to then fight more robots is just not a loop I'm enjoying. The main story also didn't grab me so time to give up.

This game is just so bloated in every way. So many currencies, different systems, different buttons and so many quests and markers. Can. Not. Be. Arsed. I didn't even manage to reach the opening title screen after 6 hours so a massive red flag for me.

Assassin's Creed just isn't for me and I don't think it ever will be.

The foundations of this game are pretty rotten. Everything is designed to make you invest in small gear upgrades and points you constantly to the marketplace to spend money.

I finished the single player campaign, which was fine. Nothing special and an incredibly boring mission structure. Definitely feels like a missed opportunity on the back of the MCU. Won't be returning for the free updates.

This is the best Monster Hunter has been for me. On boarding new players is still an issue, but getting to teach my pals the way of Monster Hunter was a lot of fun. The online aspect works flawlessly.

Endemic life along with the new traversal and skill mechanics just breath such fresh air into this already amazing series. I can see myself still playing even now I've drafted the 'last' monster. Must have Switch game.
