Petition for Jedi: Survivor to have Cal turn into a Grey Jedi who uses force lighting

Still disappointingly short & repetitive... there's so few things and yet everything is used at least twice... but also it is still fun to explode things with force lighting and lightsabers etc. repulse also is fun

Graphics rather impressive for a PS3 game from 2010. The story is nonexistent and/or stupid... like the actors each recorded 4 lines maybe lol

kind of sad that like. most of the game is gone now. but the built-in levels are still fun : (

2016

Lowkey tho this would be better as a flash game with separate numbered levels and no story. I didn't like it enough to try things several times in a row but I did go back to them later. Looks kind of cool I do like colours. The basic plot is not that dumb, but the way it's presented is like... they try to fill the space with very im14andthisisdeep lines like... you could have just not said anything.

Oh and the collectibles are stupid a number of them are like "hey be sure to remember to come back to this level that has no identification and you can't come directly back to, once you've got the yellow"

Played this time for Return to Yharnam which is very fun and then I was like well it's over I will end the game but then I still wanted to play so I started another one a week later

2022

Went all the way thru again for the speedrun trophy - not difficult but also not fun .. so much waiting.. and pressing 2 different buttons to skip thru dialogue. Rushing through this game ruins it. What a dumb trophy. Anyway it was the only one I needed for platinum so I did it lol

I meant to do a different playstyle but then I accidentally did the same thing as I did on my first playthrough (bleed weapon + the occasional incantation) except with hookclaws instead of starting weapon. It was still fun tho in the way that playing a game you have already played can be relaxing.

I had decided to go for the Goldmask ending since I was going to do incantations #faith (but then I didn't have any incantations to use so I got used to hookclawing) but that cutscene was Extraordinarily lame I hope that is not a spoiler.

NG+ to get the spells for platinum ✨

Was kind of hard until I pumped vitality to 50 lol

Better than the first one altho it really kind of seems like the Patapons are actually the villains in this one... anyway still fun & still has dumb grindy random things that are not worth doing

Played again on Unleashed difficulty to get the platinum trophy - which actually took a lot less time than getting gold medals on all the Fricking challenges.

Also as I was rushing through and skipping the cutscenes (the skippable ones) I changed my mind since a few days ago and decided that the story of this game is not in fact stupid and nonexistent, it's just like, rushed, and like the 90-minute first episode of a 45min TV show you know ... it shouldn't be a whole game, but it might have been less dumb if the sequel had happened

Played this a 5th time specifically to compare it to the Force Unleashed which I just replayed for the first time in a long time. This game does owe a lot to that game and altho I do definitely think it is "better" overall I regret to report that the Force powers are simply much cooler in TFU and I hope they take even more inspiration therefrom for the sequel...

Also as this is the 5th time I have played this I noticed that there is literally no way to skip the cutscenes some of which are very long. Conveniently, toward the end I got a bug (which were quite rare in my playthroughs 1, 2, and 4) which sped them up to ludicrous speed which was funny as well as solving that issue.

Went for the magic option on this go, had more fun with it than the first time I tried, but it did get kind of boring because it is just using the same spells over and over and in my case I didn't put points into anything else so I tried to stay far away and not engage things as much as possible. Good game tho I would probably still give this the tie with HFW as best looking PS5 game so far (subcategory Realism or something idk).

Magic is supposed to be easy which it kind of is, but on my first complete playthrough I used a bow a lot which I would contend is even way easier... there were bits of this game that became Challenging because I switched to magic and could not bow

As the kids say the vibes are immaculate
Fun little game
I enjoy

I think (?) I appreciated this more the 2nd time but that was because I had more of Literally any idea wtf was happening, due to having played it already, but also cause I was looking things up the whole time which hot take you shouldn't have to do.

Did the sorceries which was pretty fun but also ended up fairly repetitive because all of the spells cooler than "shoot chunk of blue stuff" are impossible to use because your casting animation gets interrupted

I will probably play this again and do incantations only and/or dexterity type weapons etc.

a classic
I returned to be evil and get the platinum 12 yrs later. If ever there was a game I should have the platinum for it is this one... and now, it is done.

This is a cool lil game I like the aesthetics of the like, loading screen type digital world bits a lot & also the music. I was successfully spooked by that one guy
