Plays great for the first few hours. Unfortunately becomes repetitive very quickly, which soured me on it. Pick it up if it intrigues you.

Very well written. Remains both funny and intimate throughout the whole game. The pace did crawl at times, but if you have the patience for its slower moments it's very rewarding.

More of the first game in 3D. Has more things to unlock and more customisation, but ultimately a similarly meditative game as other roguelikes.

Very heavy emphasis on its core loop of managing the different resources. Well executed, satisfying game.

Slow start, but otherwise my favourite roguelike. Once you know what you're doing, the game kind of becomes a cakewalk, but it's good cake.

Short but very sweet, good moment-to-moment gameplay and writing. Follows the Hotline Miami 2 school of storytelling, which fills me with unease. Eagerly awaiting the DLC.

Glorious source jank. Mediocre component parts come together to create an unforgettable experience.

Totally fine game that I do not have the patience for.

Short but good first playthrough. I felt comfortable playing a few of the challenges and a tiny bit of the endless mode, but you shouldn't buy the game for replayability.

The limited interaction with nonlethal playstyles sometimes gets in the way, but otherwise a great game, due in large part to the amazing worldbuilding and the modern approach to the immersive sim.

It's the first game but with better stealth mechanics. The main highlights are the level setpeices. Don't feel pressured to choose the new girl, either powerset is nice.

Best experienced in long sessions with friends. Amazing presentation all around.

Stands on par with the first one, but in different aspects. Sound design and score are the best in Valve's already stacked arsenal.

The complete package deal. Cake remains.

Vividly remember holding a controller that was not plugged in while my sister played the game. Later went back and concluded that it was a Crash game not really worth discussing on its own, only in the context of other Crash games.
