The world is coming to end and the Hearthians are going to go extinct. Lucky for them a statue chose me to enter a time-loop in order to save them. Unfortunately for them, the statue chose me.

beyond mortal comprehension or understanding

for a game about a hitman making cringe jokes any chance he gets, this game's story has a surprisingly strong heart. Good combat too, albeit very dated feeling.

Some haunting visuals and impressive storytelling moments at time, but unfortunately filled with flavorless text that goes on-and-on, making a lot of dialogue feel like a drag. I can't count the amount of times I just wanted some conversations to end and move on. The writing really needed to be cut down and edited to be sharper, it often feels like a first draft and lacking any character. I'll remember the visuals, music, little moments, and the overall message (at least what I interpret it to be) but the unnecessary chaff really drags it down.

still crazy what this game did for the series as a whole. well earned too.

The shockwave section of this game sticks into your mind like a tumor and I mean that in the best way possible. Play it.

surprised me with how solid it was, but not enough to sit through 70+ hours. If it was trimmed down by like half it'd be a genuinely good game.

It had some pretty high highs, to be honest. But with so many low lows, it missed the mark for me completely.

For a game marketed towards such a large cast of characters, they really could've done a better job integrating them together a lot better.

my personal comfort game. i know i can always come back to this game to just chill and have a nice time. wonderful game.

I'm also not huge on multiplayer games, though this is one I can say is genuinely great.

After thoroughly enjoying Shadow Warrior I couldn't even get through the first few hours. What happened

Wheatley is a tragic villain. I will not elaborate.

For such a short game, the developers went above and beyond to make every location as detailed as possible. So much playtime was spent just looking at every little detail in every room. A perfect example of quality over quantity right here.
