I really liked Bugsnax for what I thought was gonna be just mediocre puzzle game for kids turned out to be so much more than initially expected and in my opinion is the sleeper hit of this decade . The gameplay is super fun with all of the puzzles to catch the Bugsnax being pretty creative and speaking of the Bugsnax themselves they are super cute and I love their designs I also think that the ways their caught is super inventive.

Another thing this game really surprised me with was the story and characters my impression going in was the story wasn’t going to be amazing or anything just an excuse to get up and catch these creatures turned out to actually be really well told with the characters shining the most I thought they were all going to be two dimensional jokes turned out to be a lot more. Like for example Cromdo I thought he was just going to be a hotheaded penny pincher was instead given reasons as to why he’s like this making it so much deeper than what I first thought.

My only real negative’s is sometimes after completing objectives the game will lag I don’t know if that’s a Switch exclusive issue or what. I also think the bosses were a bit okay the only two that really stood out were Megamaki and Cakelegs.
I also thought that the music was pretty okay too like I don’t think I’d be able to make any tracks other than the main theme and the song Kero Kero bonito made not that any of it was bad just forgettable to me.

For what it is (a over priced smash bros clone with decent enough gameplay) this game actually did provide a decent time for me and my brother but I can’t really say if it’s because the game was fun or because anything is more fun when you’re doing it with some else.

This game is my fucking goat I love it so much. Genuinely one of the most creative games I’ve ever so it’s shame that we haven’t got a new entry in like a decade (no showdown does not count it doesn’t exist). I love playing this game it’s a bit of a comfort game for me even if I’m not really progressing the game proper it’s fun just to hop in and dick around for like a hour or two which is what all good games should strive for. My only real complaint is I feel like some answers to some of the questions are either brain dead easy or very obscure but other than that I love this game especially all of the fan creations through steam workshop I think that alone makes this game worth owning.

Pretty good game but after playing so many rougelites in my life it’s a bit generic compared to other but its perfectly suitable and good.

I have never loved and hated a game more than Dark souls 1. The good definitely out weighs the bad in this case but man Dark souls 1’s peaks are super high and for some people have it to be topped but the valleys in between are dreadful. I feel like for every one really good thing there is either something mediocre or straight dogshit like the bosses for example there are definitely stand out fights Artorias, Manus, Bell gargoyles, ornstein and smough, and Gwyn are all really good but there is so many other bosses that are straight garbage Moonlight butterfly, the 50 different versions of the Stray demon, the Bed of chaos, fucking capra demon and his dumbass dogs. Like that’s my issue with this game it has a amazing starting point a mediocre to bad middle and a fantastic ending with some amazing Dlc and that’s my main issue with DS1 it’s way too inconsistent of a experience with that being said I still love this game I just think it’s heavily flawed but that’s fine.

Undertale is good I like it but I have some issues I think on a pacifist route the random enemy encounters get very repetitive after the 3rd encounter with the same enemy . The overworld pixel art is meh like it has its charm but it comes off as amateurish at times and outside of some boss fights the genocide route was just okay. I really liked everything else though the story (pacifist) is very good and really gets you to care about the characters and the world they inhabit I mean there is still a reason why I see sans at least once a week on my timeline. The music especially are really well done I think my personal favorite tracks are Hopes and dreams, Battle against a true hero, Heartache, and Bergentrückung are all amazing. I think overall undertale is still good but in hindsight it has shown it’s age especially compared to Toby’s later work on deltarune but like I said it’s still good I just don’t think it’s this revolutionary amazing game like everyone else did.

Everhood is amazing and it’s not like any other game I’ve played before. The gameplay is so fucking fun with so much creativity with the fights especially in the second half being some of the most batshit insane boss fights I’ve ever seen. The music is godly my three personal favorites are Feisty flowers, euthanasia rollercoaster, and reconciliation this game has nothing but straight bangers. The art direction is so cool I absolutely adore a lot of this psychedelic whack ass art with it being so damn cool. As for the story I love it the twist is damn insane and while on paper it sounds a bit “edgy” but the way it’s executed is really interesting and the ending while I am someone who very rarely gets emotional at a piece of media almost got me I loved every second of this game and I can’t wait for the sequel.

Holy shit! What a game this is the kinda game that makes me remember why I love this medium so much. Mario wonder is just oozing with creativity every level has at least one cool thing that made me smile. The game is super cool and really fun and oddly enough the online was one of my favorite parts of the game just going through levels with strangers was so fun!
My only real issue is the bosses are very lacking like this feels like the one Mario game that would have benefited from the inclusion of the koopa kids but other than that it was tied with ACIV as my game of the year.

This is certainly the first sonic game. Most of it is really meh but the good parts are really good stuff like starlight, Green hill, and spring yard are actually really fun. The music is also really damn solid my favorite track is starlight.

Bloodborne is my favorite game no… my favorite piece of media ever created there’s so much to love here. This game has had a hold on me ever since I played it back in 2021 this world is unique and creative with it bursting with this energy I can’t really describe. There’s a reason why after almost 10 years (holy shit) people still talk about, make art, videos, mods, want a remakes, and sequels is because bloodborne is special and for me there’s reason why have probably played through this game 10+ times at this point despite knowing everything about it and that’s because bloodborne is amazing and it is in my opinion Fromsoftware’s masterpiece, thank you every single person who made this work of art. May Bloodborne live on for generations and even when I’m long gone.

Now it may be the nostalgia talking but I love this game and in my opinion it is naughtydog’s peak. When I first play this when I was like 4 I was never so captivated by a world and what it had to offer the areas are so incredible and unique, the music is immaculate, the gameplay is so fucking fun like it’s insane! This game showed me what this medium of entertainment can be about this game hits every note to perfection. Hell I have played this game so much that 100 percenting it is now just second nature any time I play it. Everyday I wish another game like this would come out and while know there’s sequels they for me didn’t hit the same vibe this game did so from the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone who contributed to this game!

Maybe I’m in the minority but I actually really like Sonic superstars do I think it’s perfect NO but for what it is it’s just fun I like all the new ideas they brought aboard, Trip is really fun and cute character, the levels are actually pretty imaginative and the visuals aren’t half bad. The most glaring issues are the price first and foremost it’s way too high for the amount of stuff there is in it maybe 30 or even 40 dollars would’ve been more worth it. The bosses are straight cheeks there is no two ways about it I hate how they can only be hit at certain times and you aren’t able to sneak in more hits unlike games like Mania or SK3. The most surprising part was the Music the music it was disappointing all the stuff by Tee Lopes was great like always but man Jun Senoue’s stuff was just really meh at best and bad at worse which is surprising since even in the worse of sonic games the music was always high quality. Recommend picking it up on sale if you’re interested.

This was the first game I have ever gotten for my ps5 and no joke this game was such a good showcase of the technology and on top of that it was also really fun but some parts fell a bit flat personally ratchet’s characterization is just not my cup of tea and I thought it was tad bit short with some parts of the story just kinda falling flat with some characters being underutilized. It probably could’ve benefited from like 2 to 3 more hours to flesh some more stuff out.

Genuinely amazing Lisa is a game that I have not seen ever be done so perfectly. This game is so unique and I genuinely don’t think the gaming community will never get another game like it. The way it somehow masterfully blends tragedy, fun rpg gameplay, and dark humor all into one amazing wonderfully fun experience is just mind baffling. This game sets an example that should be followed more often and that fucking whole ending sequence I won’t say anything about it but HOLY SHIT it genuinely might be my favorite ending to anything ever not just video games.

Fromsoftware does it again! no surprise really but as someone who hasn’t played a AC game before well this game got me hooked I loved everything about it! This was so criminally underrated and I need more people to talk about it!
