So extremely filtered because I cannot stand how these bosses are structured. I am The Impatient Gamer™, and I do not want to die to a boss then just do the same string of attacks over and over. Also kind of pisses me off how long it takes, like I'm just a little guy not doing anything and Undyne cannot chill the fuck out.

Besides me being filtered due to skill issue, I kind of don't understand why I didnt feel very much playing this. I like that games made by singular person have the ability to just do whatever the fuck they want, and Toby Fox does that, I just didn't care? I found the dog stuff and the Nabtsablook laying down space chill scene charming, but like I felt disappointed I wasn't filled with glee.

Yeah I think its dope, but I guess just another game Not For Me.

The void is a game developed Ice-Pick Lodge, most famous for developing Pathologic 1 and 2. This is their second game after their first, Pathologic. As you might assume from these dev's this game is hostile to the player. The world is dreary and abandoned (for the most part), and the gameplay is stressful, tedious, and has consequences for playing poorly.

This game tasks you with collecting color in a world basically devoid of it. You must collect color, and grow it in gardens, or mine it from ore deposits, maybe even find scraps; but mostly you will be farming. You fill a tree with color and it will give you color over a couple "cycles", and then once its empty, you cannot use that tree for quite a while. Not understanding how this fully worked, I borked my first 5 hours into this game and basically had to start a new playthrough.

I started again, however, because the ambience, vibe, and visuals of this game are crazy. Each sister has their own unique worlds that are so beautiful I just stood there and looked for a while. The small areas you get to explore kind of remind of Hypnagogia, just like small dream-like locations that exist. The cutscenes, dialogue, and everything just make me go "woah. This is fucking Video Games."

Sadly, I also abandoned this run because the gameplay becomes too tedious, and I kind of just really didn't wanna start the game up to play it whenever I thought about it. At first, the gameplay is engaging because you are managing your colors, trying to grow them without growing too much. At that point I only played small sessions because it taxed my brain quite a lot, couldn't handle longer sessions. Eventually though I got to the point where you can start fighting the primary antagonists, the 10 Brothers. I was following a guide and was way ahead power curve wise, so I got like 6 of them before the game tells you to do it. Then I realized I have all I need except to fight the final boss, except you have to wait until the 30th cycle to fight him, which was 9 away, which is a long time. I just gave up cause I didn't wanna jack my pud for 9 cycles, I get what the game is and I think its too tedious at this point.

Despite that, I still think this game is something you can only create in this medium. This is a game that fucking shows you what Video Games™ can be.

I don't know, sauceless? Wasn;t in the mood? Don't wanna play a Besthesda-esque game that isnt oblivion, fallout 3/newvegas, skryim? Idk, just generally didn't care. I think this Spacer's Choice Edition looked very pretty when it wasnt way too dark.

Borderlands 3 is pretty fun. I played as Amara, the punch Siren and I actually got a pretty crazy melee build (in my opinion). I probably had 600% melee damage and 75% lifesteal so I heal to full health on every melee hit. Amara is probably my favourite Borderlands character in general. I do feel sad that I already had my build and pretty much ignored the gun variety in this game, but I love wacking shit so.

I probably have a way higher tolerance so I didn't find this game "cringe" or annoying pretty much at all. I might have been like "okay this joke is getting stale hurry up" like once or twice. I just fuck with people being quirky.

I do think the writing some have some genuine "realness" to is sometimes. There is a sidequest where it just talks about Angel's/Handsome Jack's past and I didnt even beat that game and I felt sad. Then it's also paralleled with the Calypso Twin's upbringing and I'm like fuck. I like the Calypso Twins, just a good pair of broken individuals. I mean, Borderlands is kind of just filled with broken people, but they are still living life and acting themselves and thats dope.

Also shouts out to the old man Yaoi, we love old gay men.

LEGO Brawls is a platform fighter with very little thought to it, kind of just mash the button. Destroy boxes to get powers like Mario Kart. There are maps with different objectives which is fun, but (again) the game isn't really too fun. Also considering the all time peak for this game on Steam was 85 players can tell you how dead this game is. Also this shit launched at $40 fucking dollar. I do like that you get to build generic lego guys so that fucks.

In Dinosaur Adventure 3-D, a T-Rex has somehow found itself on this island that has 3 "biomes" on it that consist of the Triassic, Jurassic, and cretaceous periods. You are are tasked with finding 9 hidden eggs around the screens of the island, and play minigames to get 3 hatching crystals for each egg. Each screen is beautifully pre-rendered, and most Dinosaurs are, in fact, 3D. The baby dinosaurs, and the main 2 are not so they can give them fun animations.

The minigames consist of:
1.) Mahjong, but with eggs instead. Everytime you get a match, you get a picture of whatever dinosaur you matched and a little informational quip.
2.) A Crash Bandicoot-esque run towards the camera sequence in which you need to dodge obstacles while the T-Rex chases a stampeding hoard of whatever the fuck they are.
3.) A "Maze" in which you cannot see, because it is covered by a jungle canopy. It's turn based, and you have a limited amount of rocks that have numbers randomly tied to them. You are tasked with reaching the opposite corner to get to the lost dinosaur. There are predators hiding in there that move after you, and make sounds if you are near. Not very fun tbh.
4.) A jigsaw type game, but with dinosaur bones. There are 6 different dinosaurs to make. I love this one cause I love the dinosaur bone visuals.
5.) A frogger type game where you need to jump across a tar pit (twice) to save a baby dinosaur. Objects in the tar can sink for a bit, then come back up, so timing is important. On later difficulties there will be giant bugs you can ride.
6.) The last is a Pipe game (my favourite), but its framed as building a path to a dinosaur. Once you finish it, you can go to a mode where you set what the path looks like (quick sand, volcanoe, lake, frozen lake, etc). Then your dinosaur goes across them playing animations to make you go "woah". There are 2 different visuals per pipe variation, and 2 different animations per visual, so like 24 different little animations to see.

This game can be a little tedious because you need 27 hatching crystals, plus finding the 9 eggs before you can beat it. Luckily the pipe game is also very fast to beat, and you can just keep playing the same game.

The game ends with you leading the 9 newly born dinosaurs to trick the T-Rex into going on top of the volcano, then it blows up and blasts him away. He then gets stuck as a bridge until he dies.

I love the presentation and the CG and shit. Everytime you click on a dinosaur it does a "look into a magic crystal" animation and then it plays a little CG movie telling you a little factoid. If you fuck with dinosaurs, this is dope.

Extremely barebones Activity Pack.
-Connect the Dots: clicking on the dots in order, dont even draw.
-Jigsaw puzzles
-Dress up Mr Potato Head
-Typical activity painting
-arts and crafts which splits into: greeting cards, coloring book, and printable cutouts.

All of these activities feed back into the coloring book mechanic. You can paint what you dot connect, or the jigsaw, or the potato head you dress up; just every activity leads into the painting.

I did fuck with this a lot as a child so yeah, does have the child appeal, but I don't think this one has much going on for older people coming back.

A simple mini game collection. The lore and story is kind of fucked up if you are not a baby and think about it. You are tasked with collecting parts because your friend is broken down. A tow truck is absolutely salivating at the chance to tow your friend to the junk yard to rot forever. They can't just bring him to a mechanic to fix him, everyone is kind of just resigned to let it happen besides the MC.

There is also a bit where a mechanic quit his job, so the owner of the place lets you (a child) to the equivalent of invasive surgery (a engine check up) just cause you said you would do it.

I do really like the cart designs though. The squishy tires and stuff is dope.

Same problems I have with these Solitaires that try to make it more "engaging". They add roadblocks to the matching that can screw you over RNG wise. I fuck with the Walmart Casual Game vibe though. The music is beautiful sometimes and the halloween vibes are dope.

So this is just a solitaire CD with 8 different ways to play. A couple I didn't even bother playing, some are neat, but the main problem is that this game is like "hardcore(?)". Take normal solitaire, you can flip through the deck, and once you reach the bottom, you can start at the top again and cycle through once more. In this release, you reach the bottom, and that is it. That makes this way more likely you will get fucked by RNG and the cards will not be able to put up correctly.

There is one that is just you can stack the cards and the suite doesnt matter, and you deal 4 cards at a time from the deck. It is extremely simple, but since you can't cycle through again, this is like a game they made before there was anything fun to do (with like real cards).

Anyways, besides the RNG reliant versions of Solitaire, you can change you the background and the card backs with delightful 90's designs. The music is also full of MIDI bangers so its awesome for a old software enjoyer.

So the Designer's Cut adds a new skill tree for every character in this game, a route they took instead of adding new characters. I would obviously prefer new characters to this, and there isn't much I can really say about the trees because I don't know enough about this.

They also add Arms Race; a "battle royale" game mode in which you (and your team) are dropped on a map and do battle royale stuff. You don't get any of your skill tree stuff or weapons, fresh start. It's a little bit of a struggle at first until you find some weapons then I honestly felt a little exhilarated because I actually have to worry about health. There is a storm that gets smaller, and a final boss to fight that drops hella loot. You can only extract a small amount of loot however.

I only did one round so far, might do a couple more; but it was fun. Maybe not $15 worth, but that doesn't really matter because Borderlands 3 is now in eternal deep sale mode.

Just logging my first attempt at this game. If you fuck up early game by not playing optimally enough, you will fuck yourself over and have to restart. Only reason I'm actually starting another attempt is because im enamored.

While I equated this foot licker's life to that of a tapeworm, I still fuck with their human decision to be a subservient foot servant to wonderful gamer babes.

Aria of Sorrow Alter is a romhack of AoS that jumples up the map and progression, it might be more free in the mid point depending on what boss/soul you happen upon. It's alright, but the new jumbled castle doesn't have the same flow as Aria I feel, just kind of jumbled for returning players to not explore the same map, but not really designed as well as the original.

They at least did something really cool with 1 area (the clock tower) that I don't wanna say but its cool. There is also some Meta puzzle (not really a puzzle cause a hint card tells you immediately what to do), but its also cool.

The problem I have with this is that it definitely harder, which I dont want from Igavanias. I don't think these games have particularly good game feel for them to be hard, so it just fucking pisses me off when I get bounced around constantly. Some enemies also just feel wayyyy more spongey and that sucks.

Yeah idk, if you want more challenge and are a AoS superfan I guess?
