I LITERALLY SOYJACKED FACE THROUGHOUT EVERY MINUTE OF THIS GAME I FUCKING LOVE THE STUPID MICHAL JACKSON ASS HAT AND JUST WOW EVERYTHING IS JUST WOW
Also I loved V's combat, I love summoners so fighting with him was AMAZING
And Nero's???? HOLY SHIT! It's SO MUCH BETTER than DMC4!!!!!!!! His multiple gloves are sooooo fucking AWESOME!!!! I love his propulsion glove where you can pretty much fly arouynd the combat and I LOOOVE me some good air combat.
And get this, the enemies, ACTUALLY WORK ONCE IN DMC'S CAREER!!! There are no enemies that completly break Nero's or Dante's fighting, they are FUN AS FUCK to fiight! And Again, I am a sucker for Summoner's, so I would die for more V combat.
In 4, it was pretty easy to point and say "I like Nero's story chapter more, but I like Dante's combat more"
In 5 I can't tell, I love all of them... Maybe I prefer Nero's flying glove mechanics, but even then, Dante has that cool ass motorcycle and hat, and V, again, Summoner man...
But, I have to admit that Dante's fighting does lack some depth IN COMPARISON to DMC3/4. But it's still some of the best combats in any game ever.

Playing as Dante in the story is pratically a torture, it should honestly be illegal. But fighing in the Arena with some of the enemies that actually work is one of the best combats ever.

It has literally ruined pretty much ANY action scene going foward. I can't see anything that's supposed to be "Cool and awesome and radical" without thinking "Yeah well, it isn't a guy climbing the side of a tower with a motorcycle then using said motorcycle to fuck up some demons..."
Amazing. But I have a lot of gripes with some choices. Ater the battle with Vergil where we get the gloves and boots the game really drops. The enemies get really annoying to fight, and it feels boring. The bosses keep being great though. And The story is pretty good.

My first Final Fantasy
I loved every single minute of it.
Great customization and gameplay is pretty good. I like the exploration and story and sidequests. Great nostalgia for me.

I didn't 100% the game. But I feel like I did everything I could. The narrative kind of tells you that you should explore to just... Discover yourself, and come back when you're ready.
And that's what I did. So eventually I just... Didn't really feel like I needed to see what else it had in store. Granted I did see A LOT of the game. But didn't collect everything, I would say probably ~85%. But at some point I was like "You know what? I guess I already explored a lot, I feel like I would miss my family if I stayed gone for that long, also I am pretty sure no mask/calling could top what I have been using for hours now. I should just go back and be happy."

AMAZING! I cried. Really good start of the 2022 year for me. And no combat, I like games with no combat.
Really good. It delivers exactly what it promises. Although I would like a bit more choice in paths when replaying the game.
