a truly atrocious game. it has some spikes of brilliance here and there but it is truly godawful

better than i remember it being. just the best that modern RE can be if capcom just decides to FOCUS their modern RE games instead of being a stupid fucking fun house.

unironically the best puzzle game since Portal. loved nearly every second of this. the only gripe i have is that i'm not super big on timing based puzzles and i wish there were a bit less than there are. apart from that this shit is impeccable

Epic game store gave the Legacy Collection out for free and holy shit this game is REAL fucking fun.

one of the few games of it's nature that would actually be a blast to play with friends OR randoms. the systems put into place reward circles of friends playing off each other in producing their own comedy or the nature of not knowing who the hell any of your coworkers are immediately makes everything comedic. no one is trying to MINMAX lethal company, everyone dies and everyone just knows that's part of what you pay for.

a near perfect adaptation of my favorite board game. i will hold back from a 5 star rating until they release the expansions. but i am surprised as to how well this one works in digital

this shit with friends is UNBELIEVABLY FUN. there is the hangup of the levels being pretty cryptic... but i mean, if you have no shame of just lookin up a general guide and just...playing the game and strategizing with your buds...this is easily a top 10 RE game if not top 5.

leaving this here as a work in progress. i am roughly 4 hours in this game. i would refund it but i can't so i'm hopefully going to beat it but i already have so much other shit that i could be playing that maybe i just never will.
i set a budget out for this game and i wish i had just gotten Lords of the Fallen or 2 indie games instead of this.

very upset.

i made a video about my frustration about this game and in the process of making it the game finally clicked for me and i ended up beating it. I spent hours initially being upset at this game for what it was doing that i didn't really take the time to appreciate what it was doing in the first place.
Truly in a world of it's own.

Sometimes art requires patience. Sometimes it requires persistence.

Sometimes you realize that your distaste isn't a loop of negativity, it's a spiral.

finished it this morning. besides giving us practically everything cut out of the original remake, the reason to play this DLC is just as a reminder of how good RE4make is. loved every second of this despite getting really stuck at 2 locations (the el gigante boss fight and the walk up to the final boss), none of that deterred me from deeply enjoying this.

Just rolled credits this morning. Potentially my #1 favorite Souls-like game and that's including the FS games. i cannot begin to express how much i enjoyed this game. it's so well thought out, so well crafted and you can tell the devs TRULY cared about the game they were making. every ounce of this is dripping with passion and you just know deep down that Round 8 studios GETS what makes a good souls game. They've improved upon, and even FIXED a lot of things about normal souls games and souls combat that i've had issues with here.
game of the year. made me feel a lot of things and i don't think that even FromSoftware could make a game that could beat this without drastically changing some fundamentals to their designs and i'm NOT LYIN.

roughly 15-20 hours in.

Tentatively a 5 star experience. there are PLENTY of little things about it that are annoying like the UI and some of the space combat, but to b e honest, this game is exactly what i wanted it to be.

Space is the backdrop. it's truly a magical feeling wandering around this world.

- UPDATE AT 55 HOURS-
there are enough little things about this game that do bug me enough to drop the score down a bi, but i have to say that i can sit down and play this game for HOURS at a time for nearly a week straight which is a monumental feat for any game, even TotK didn't grip me this hard for this long. i'm enjoying myself a LOT but things like the GODAWFUL UI and the fact that exploration in the traditional sense is practically nonexistent really do rub me the wrong way.

overall tho, Godd Howard delivered. I'm not even a Bethesda guy, but maybe i am now.

I HAVE BEATEN THIS. it's amazing. the ending is really rushed and kinda sucks, but apart from that, it's a great game with wonderful characters and some nice surprises sprinkled throughout. the combat is constantly engaging and i never got tired of engaging with enemies which is an accomplishment in and of itself in this genre.

I can't wait to reverse my opinion on this and i mean that literally. this game is so well written and i love the characters a lot but i just can't fucking stand DnD rules apparently. rolling bad frequently is just a miserable experience. i can't stand rolling all the way up to 1 HP of an enemy more than a couple times in one session and it's all due to die rolls. i should be able to do things i want to do without relying on a fucking die roll every 5 seconds.

i want to love this game. i love that Larian Studios is putting a genre back on the map that's been absent for god knows how long. I'M GLAD the game is doing well. i just think i hate DnD

Crimesight is an odd one. It's essentially an asymmetric board game ala Among Us but literally made by Konami. It's notable because it's going to be taken offline less than one year after it's release, rendering the game entirely as a dead weight on your steam account. it's a shame too because there are a lot of good ideas here even though the game is absolutely ZONKED in Moriarty's favor... at least it seems to be. i will literally never find out what the meta of this game is.

but as a game it's honestly fun with friends. i think the game suffered most from a lack of promotion from Konami which is a shame because the game could EASILY have been patched to a much more even playing field and now we'll never really get to see what could have been from a game that seems to be created to fail.
