Honestly just found the whole thing pretty boring, to be honest. It just felt like Fallout 3 all over again, and the writing didn't grip me. Didn't make it past the 2nd planet.

This game was boring even in 2007.

It was a pretty fun open world game at the time, but now adays it's not really anything to write home about.

Honestly, a pretty decently told story all things considered. It's the original Infamous but a lot better in every way, basically. New powers are more fun, the morality system is handled better, etc.

I tried to replay this game recently, and it was pretty much one of the biggest shocks of my life. The game is ridiculously tedious with shit tons of underdeveloped mechanics. The dungeon crawling is actually okay, but I remembered the town building being a lot... better than it was.

2010

The gameplay is getting pretty torturous now adays, and I wasn't as attached to Kaine as I think the game wanted me to be, but boy the OST and atmosphere rocked me.

It's fun, but... I think the story is better told the story actually is. The ending is nice though, and the gameplay is fun.

Pretty much same as the below poster. The writing is really good, but everything else is just kind of a worse version of what Skies would be.

It's still the best 3d collecter, somehow, despite its age getting in the way. Honestly I think the second game has better abilities but the maps in this are better designed.

My major problem with this game is that I prefer having one, small party as opposed to a sprawling village of victims I'm going to get killed. It can also be a bit grindy, especially in the middle where there isn't a lot happening. Fun game still, though.

Great soundtrack, fun bosses. It's YS at its finest. I found the mooks were pretty... boring, though, and there really isn't a ton of depth in the system, but despite that, it is SUPER rewarding to become good at all the nooks and crannies.

I really didn't like any of the other characters besides Yunica, it felt like they just broke the game in boring ways, but the outside of that it's good as hell.

Has an amazing start; Begins like a resident evil 4 that stayed true to its horror routes, but devolves into constant set pieces with... neat visuals, I guess, and the gameplay goes out the window.
