Dimps’ first outing into a Sonic game and man does it show. The gameplay feels so stilted compared to 2 or 3. Levels are inoffensive until Egg Base, a very common trope of their games actually. The final boss sucks, its a boss that was either made with no awareness of how sonic moves in the game with the slow start up or with awareness to be malicious.

Honestly the only thing this game has over the other 2 is the chao garden, and even then its extremely bare bones.

19 years since the release of Fusion and off the heels of the less than stellar 2 remake, Dread had big shoes to fill.

Despite playing it incredibly safe, Dread creates an amazingly tense and epic atmosphere, a great challenge, and satisfying puzzles alongside chilling music. I have my gripes, like how 100% items is pointless completion wise, but I have not enjoyed a 2D Metroid game as much as this one.

An extremely rough start to a series I wish I could love more. I usually disagree with the notion that "old rpgs age poorly" but god these games are extremely dated.

i attempted to 100% this game, but for some reason my file got bugged and didn't register 1 of my HP upgrades. Locking me out of a 100%. Attempted to fight Bass but couldn't get him to spawn after 15 mins of random encounters. So definitely won't ever play this game again.

This was my first outing into the MH series and I couldn't be more impressed. Solid combat with tons of variety, lots of vast open areas to explore with tons of secrets too reward learning the terrain, and an amazing gameplay loop that keeps me coming back for more.

My only criticism is that the main game is far too short and ends with no real development. I understand that these types of games receive constant quest updates, but that's no excuse for a weaker base.

I am quite fond of the FPS style RE games. While this one had some lower lows than 7, its highs far outshined it in every way. This game is a must play for anyone into horror, shooter action, or puzzle solving.

This videogame is perfect. No debate. Its everything I want out of a Zelda game. Fantastic music, Memorable characters, a world i can explore at my discretion, dungeons that challenge and amaze me, and most importantly of all: its just pure fun.

The wall painting mechanic gets used superbly even coming up with new ways to interact with the environment in the final dungeon.

The item rental mechanic gives value/weight to rupees, magic meter, and even dying. I love it.

its 100% completion is actually fun and rewarding. they dont stuff the game full of unfun bullshit to pad game time, even the silly baseball minigame is fun. More games NEED to follow this game's example.

If you have a 3DS and haven't played this game, stop wasting that purchase and get it, its like 20 bucks. THATS A STEAL!

this game caused so many DS screens to get scratched up so bad lmao

Extremely stylish visuals and fun, top-down action made this game appealing af. However, the day-to-day aspect of running the store is a bit boring. If there were NPCs to interact with that said more than 2 things, the town would feel alive and worth spending time in.

As it stands its so close to being a great game, but as is, I see no value in finishing it.

Shame you can't change to the "Make this game worthwhile" channel

idk why all of Mario's app games are so blatantly trying to steal your money, but at least Mario Kart World Star is a bad game to boot so I can ignore it. This is a decently fun game, but not worth what Nintendo charges for it.

I'd probably like this game a lot more if this game's localization wasn't the worst I've ever seen.

The story is idiotic, but gameplay is fun, even if evolutionary lines in the game being blocked off by post game quests is stupid.

This game is everything I wanted from a modern megaman game. The voice acting is a bit grating at times, and I wish I could disable Roll's shop dialogue with how repetitive it is, but the performances of the bosses is great and adds a lot of charm to them.

I love the power-up try-out system. A great addition that needs to be in every game going forward.

The Double Gear system is a strange addition, it seems to be added as both a safety net for newcomers and a difficulty raiser for hardcores. I like it but I hope it doesn't become a series mainstay.

Speaking of difficulty, I LOVE the varying modes. Being able to play an intensely hard run and gun or a casual infinite lives run for killing time, gives the game tons of replay value. Challenge mode is a bit ridiculous but I could see myself 100% this game someday.

Its crazy that the guys that made 9 also made this one. I'm not the biggest fan of 9, but it was leagues better than this one. This game just throws crap at you with 0 warning or preparation making levels a drag to play. The powers are some of the lamest in the series.

At the end of the day, its still a Classic Megaman, its not a bad game, but its tied with 3 for my least favorite.

When I first played this game I was surprised at how much the game had evolved from its predecessor after only a year. I was even more surprised when the game got me to care about my party with such simple gameplay elements. I was having a lot of fun. Similar to DQ1 i mostly coasted without a guide just by talking to NPCs and exploring. HOWEVER, once you finally get to the Cave to Rendarak this game goes to absolute shit.

The dungeons become maliciously unfair, messing with the player with tons of trial and error traps that reset your progress in the dungeon. Late game enemies fire off multi-hit massive damage moves like Kaboom and Fiery Breath meaning you constantly have to go back to rest and regain MP since your only recovery item for MP is limited and breaks after random uses. and finally, oh my god, the encounter rate exacerbates all of these problems tenfold. If all of that wasn't bad enough, the game actively fucks with you to even get to the dungeon. idk if this was a translation error or not, but on IOS and Switch, the NPC that tells you how to get to Rendarak tells you the WRONG DIRECTION.

I gave up and got a guide just to get it over with. The final boss fight is fun, but it would have been more fun if i could have fought him with full health/mp. So i just save scummed to save time.

its a fine game, but i doubt ill replay it anytime soon.

I love everything about this game except the removal of Charge Shot and Slide. If Protoman wasn't miserable to play, this would probably a higher up game on my list. It was a good return from a long hiatus tho. but now we have 11, so that's just an accolade.

Splashwoman makes me go awooga tho, so 11/10
