The first third of the game is absolutely phenomenal - Jack is an all time great villain for the series. Everything after you escape from the house is a downgrade, but certainly not bad. The game's most blatant flaw is the lack in enemy variety, with stupid tar enemies that aren't particularly scary or satisfying to kill making up every enemy encounter that isn't a boss. Certainly flawed, but a successful and much needed reimagining for the series.

Not exaggerating when I say I don't think this changed anything at all from 2K16. Indistinguishable.

Awful. What an incredibly unsatisfying payoff. Only redeeming factor is the sense of tension throughout. Not at all worth the hour it takes to beat it.

It took me a few tries to get into this game for some reason but once I did, I couldn't put it down. I'm usually not a fan of 2D side scrollers but the style of this one is irresistible. The story does seem a little too God of War-ish with the premise of killing evil Greek gods one by one, but it's a premise that works. Highly recommend.

What a massive disappointment. The story is super enthralling, up until it... isn't. Absolutely deflating, and none of your choices matter which doesn't help.

The most painful dialogue of any game I've ever played and it's not even close. I hate everyone in this. Every character needs to be shot in the face.

The world of The Order: 1886 is fucking awesome. The visuals are unmatched for its time. The gameplay is solid enough, when it actually exists, which isn't often. The story is also really cool apart from some extremely dumb moments that make no sense. But as soon as you start to really get into it, it's over. There's barely any game here. More like a tech demo for the PS4 than anything else.

The story takes precedence over the gameplay here, which is something I felt the base game did a better job at balancing. The story, however, is unexpectedly great, with tons of magical dialogue moments and cool settings.

The best game FromSoftware's ever made also has the best DLC they've ever made. Not quite as captivating as the main game but still amazing and must play. Fishing Hamlet is a side of disgusting horror I never knew I needed.

The most replayable fighting game of all time due to the Multiverse game mode. Improves on the original Injustice in every way. The gear system is fantastic, utilizing loot boxes in an actual fun way. Some niche roster picks, some of which are barely involved in the story, which isn't a bad thing.

Unparalleled storytelling. Will go down in history as one of the greatest games of all time if not the greatest. Every character feels human, every section of the game serves a purpose, and every gut punch hurts and sticks with you.

The best FromSoftware game and honestly a good contender for the best game of all time. Cannot get enough of the macabre setting, whether it be mobs of beastmen stalking the streets or secret alien babies under churches.

Never have I not wanted a game to end more than my first playthrough of Arkham City. It improves on the already fantastic Asylum in every way. The story is enthralling despite some parts being somewhat silly and the combat is perfected. A must play for anybody.

Liked this waaaay more than expected. The Clank segments are a chore, but everything else is fun and the graphics are perfect for the art style. Somewhat short, but the length works.

Takes everything from the first game and saps most of the fun out of it. The story is a snorefest. The variety in areas are welcome, but none of them really offer anything different. The Nemesis System continues to be the highlight of the series, but even that has its limits.
