It's shit. Overrated shit, only reason this blew up so much is because nobody who actually plays video games played it. Worst thing I've ever bought. I regret playing it.

It's like if you combined Nioh and Sekiro but cut out 95% of the mechanics and had some of the worst pc port optimization I've ever seen, and that's coming from someone with 200 hours in Stranger of Paradise

Video games will never be better than this

Unironically a masterpiece
FIRST GAME TO SELL A TRILLION COPIES BABY

I couldn't possibly hope to describe this game in words. One of the most unique experiences out there and a great introduction to SUDA51's career. Gives you good context for No More Heroes, too. You're robbing yourself of something special if you don't play it. Highly recommended.

Didn't know how to feel about it. The first time I finished it I hated it. The more I thought about the full picture, context for this game (Covid development included), and where it sits in the entire series, all of the pieces fell together pretty quickly.
Gameplay's great, no levels is pretty shit but the enemy diversity and interesting boss fights makes up for it. The story was pretty great, too. The lighter tone makes sense with everything Travis has been through, and as a result the serious moments hit especially hard. I laughed out loud a few times, too.
I'm gonna miss you, Travis. Thanks for everything.

Hopefully the PC port fixes the graphics jesus christ

I've never played something that made me feel so proud of being a loser.
People cope with trauma in different ways, doing their best to find meaning in life. Travis Touchdown isn't a good person, but he's a person nonetheless.
The start of his journey, and one of gaming's greatest achievements. One of the biggest influences on my life. Wouldn't be who I was without it.

maybe if your game is "dmc dating simulator," don't make the UI default unity assets and the MC's design yanderedev

It's like playing a beat em up and every 10 minutes you're stopped to have a jrpg dating simulator cutscene.
The way I've described that is either probably perfect for you or sounds like the worst thing ever made, it's sure not for me. Other reviews put it pretty well, the writing is terrible.
Literally everything else is really sick though, but I shouldn't have to skip all of the cutscenes to make something bearable.

Mori's music is in it
also extremely kusoge
and some of the worst netcode I've ever experienced

Community sucks, I haven't met a person that plays this game seriously that doesn't hate themselves, has stopped playing it and regrets their time with it, or just hasn't played TF2 instead.
Fun with friends, but isn't literally everything else? Name something that isn't fun with friends. I dunno, filing taxes, maybe?

Favorite in the series. Probably one of the most content-dense video games ever made. Fantastic story, gameplay's some of the best in the series, too. Culmination of so much in the series, 0 was considered kind of a reboot almost, so you can think of it as the finale if you want, too. I do. Don't miss it.

I wouldn't really count this as a game but it's here.
Changed my life, literary perfection.
