A large expansive open world that can be a pain to navigate sometimes and an unfortunately unfinished story are made up for with the gameplay that encourages experimentation with a dizzying amount of toys at your disposal.
The gunfights and combat in this game are actually really fun and hectic but it comes at the cost of a story I literally could not give less of a shit about. Even more so than previous Far Cry games.
This game somehow manages to have worse shooting controls than Metal Gear Solid 3. Lots of bugs including one that forced me to restart an entire section of the game. Would really only recommend if you're dying to see how the story of Artyom concludes.
This game is boring and repetitive as hell. A shame too considering the story is actually quite interesting with a lot of very nice performances. At least they picked some good songs for the radio station.
Exhilarating car combat and an honestly sometimes gorgeous world are plagued with copy pasted 100% completion nonsense and a lackluster story. Had my fun with it but not going to go back anytime soon.
If you're going to play this make sure you got a podcast or some music to drown out the godawful writing. Or maybe just play a different game altogether.
An above average strategy game marred by a lot of technical errors and sometimes just downright bad luck that can cause an entire run to be lost. I suppose that's part of why people like it.
