it was aight. decent storytelling and awesome traversal mechanics marred by some of the most ego death-inducing open world content i have had to do in recent memory

ethan winters is an american hero

leon s kennedy and jack krauser have a twerk off naked covered in oil

idk how they did it but it was even peaker than the first one

the Coolest Guy in the sky arc becomes even cooler

tetsuya takahashi cooks up yet another mindbreak masterpiece

some of the highest highs in any ff game coupled with the most abyssal lows in any game i have ever played. it's generally fun - especially the unique setpieces - but there are an abundance of glaring issues in every other corner of the game that it's hard to recommend going out of your way to play it

burning throb is the best normal battle theme in any video game and you cannot convince me otherwise

all hail the imperial picnicking front

its really awesome that sega included a whole ass game with the infinite wealth demo

it's not perfect, but the developers understood the assignment and delivered in almost every possible way. the story and exploration elements are decent enough, but the real highlights have to be the presentation, the quality of the boss fights, and the depth that can be found in the weapon mixing system

I probably would've enjoyed this game more if I played it when it came out, but nowadays it feels like the gameplay aged like milk. I did enjoy the story a lot though, especially with the sparse integration of music and live-action video into its TV drama stylings. DLC was pretty good too.

while a little buggy, it was so much better than the first one. i never want off sam lake's wild ride
