A near flawless Gameboy Color game that offers to be one of the best platformers on the Gameboy family of systems. It's an innovative title that improves upon the original, by moving towards a puzzle platformer to help differ itself from other platformers, and it works. Not only that but the game offers so much content, with 50 levels, multiple endings, many treasures and mini games to collect and play, and so much more.

Flawless in almost every way. This game not only gives us a satisfying story to the Norse duology of games, but gives us a perfect finale for the entire series, if Santa Monica Studios wishes to end it there. The pacing is damn perfect, letting players spend the perfect amount of time in a shit ton of unique areas with unique enemies, puzzles, visuals, and characters to interact with, but these areas provide some of the most thought out puzzles I’ve played in years, as well as some of the most engaging fights and bosses in any God of War game, with the series’s most satisfy and in-depth combat to date. It’s simply a masterpiece!

One of my favorite Gameboy games after finishing it for the first time. Great level design, tons of originality, and great use of exploration to find entire areas, levels, and even a world one might miss. Definitely recommend it.

As someone who has only played the 2016 “remake” / movie tie-in, I was a bit skeptical on jumping right on into the latest addition to the Ratchet & Clank series. However, the new thought pops into my head after playing and completing the game in a 10 hour playtime is how will I enjoy the rest of the series when the bar is so high now!? This game gives you some of the most fun platformer combat, challenges, stories, visuals, and fun in the entire platformer genre. Even as someone relatively new to the franchise, I can still recommend this game to anyone.

A huge improvement over the original game's campaign that didn't do much to differentiate itself from the first game's campaign. The gameplay, world, characters, setting, vibe, and charm are off the hook. The levels are insanely better, as they are more creative, diverse, and actually make the player do stuff outside of getting to the end of a goal, like don't get shot, recreate an object, push this ball throughout the are, losing your main weapons, and even going full stealth. I had a lot of fun with this game, and I definitely think it's the best single-player content for the series this far. Hoping Splatoon 3 takes notes.

An N64 launch title that feels like a launch game and a tech demo at the same time to show different gameplay varieties, graphical outputs, and other aspects the system can produce. There are some short comings where the game is very short with boring optional content, but the main campaign is mostly fun. I wasn’t a huge fan of the hang glider, but I enjoyed the jet pack and gyro copter. It’s a fun short game to play once and probably never again.

An absolute joy to play and explore. While it is a bit slow, and you are a bit too underpowered at the beginning, the game just gets so much better as you upgrade yourself, and able to open new areas of the map. Sad that there isn't any game like this today. I strongly recommend this game!

This game is probably the game that has ever crashed and soft locked on me in existence. I counted the game crashing 4 times, and many soft locks throughout my dungeon experiences due to enemies glitching out of bound. Not only that, but I also experienced a lot of small visual glitches in my cult area, with objects moving around, camera acting weird, and other things. And lastly, the game on PS4 has a very inconsistent frame rate, where the screen pauses for like half a second at times.

BUT I ADORE THIS GAME!!! This game is so addicting in both of the main aspects of building my cult, and going dungeon delving. I absolutely loved this loop, and I never got tired of it. The cult allows you to grow your cult, name followers, build many helpful structures, create rules to benefit you or the cult, and perform rituals. It also made me care for every member of my cult, as I would be sad whenever someone would die of old age. And the dungeons are so fun, with many aspects that push you to become stronger, like the cards, or get cool material to trade or use for side quests or upgrades. The bosses are fine. While they feel a little repetitive, they were tough and fun.

I would adore this game so much more once those glitches, crashes, and other various problems are solved, but now, I still love this game!

A masterful sequel that expands on everything from the original. New worlds, new characters, better visuals, and online. Literally the definition of a perfect sequel on top of the already engaging and “one more try” gameplay.

2021

A nice, cute, small indie game full of charm, love, passion, and creativity. Definitely recommend if you love puzzle/adventure games

Skipping most of the games after Kirby 64, and diving right into this game (as I can't get a copy of Return to Dreamland), I am very satisfied with this game. While I wouldn't say it is as memorable as 64, I still very much enjoyed this games simplicity, use of multiple platform layers, and puzzles with the Hypernova, as well as some really cool references with the keychains, great bosses, and some really solid music and level design. Definitely a Kirby game that is higher up there.

A fun hack and slash that gets a bit too repetitive with being in Pandora’s Tower for too long, as well as some powers just straight being OP, but the combat and puzzles were fun, and while not many bosses, they were very fun to play overall. It’s a great stepping stone for a franchise to start with!

A better game than The Missing Heir. While there are some points where you can get easily lost between the dialogue choices, with one choice buried among many choices, it's a far better game as it features more visual elements that help enhance the story, as well as just having a more interesting story overall, one that focuses less on surprises and repetition, but focuses on more twists and a darker tone. While I was still able to predict the killer long before they were set up, I still enjoyed my time more with this game than The Missing Heir.

A very addicting, but repetitive game that I had a lot of fun with. I absolutely loved the charm, graphics, and gameplay. Using the gadgets with the left control stick was very unique and intuitive, even if you lost more control for your camera, and it feels like you will ruin your control stick on the PS4 very easily as you do a lot of rapid movements with it for the gadgets. But it really is a cute and charming platformer.

A game that is exhilarating all the way through to the end of a short yet fun as hell game! It’s what every 2D platformer should strive to be going forward!
