frustratingly a masterpiece. so much is wrong but something in my tiny brain clicks with this world and gameplay so hard
more flaws that I can count on both my fingers and toes (they fumbled so hard with the way the story is presented it boils my blood) but goddamnit that physics engine and this is just beyond anything else I’ve ever played and it’s just fun

if they stick the landing with the final two level packs this may be the best story driven fps ever made. it's kind of unbelievable in every aspect: the controls are watertight, the amount of well executed mechanics are insane, the level design is impeccable, the boss fights are some of the best in any game ever, and the aesthetic + atmosphere is just like nothing else despite wearing its many influences on its sleeve. it's an incredible experience in early access and when they finish it it'll be an all timer. mark my words
