dunno why i like this but i do, and if the 5 star reviews needs justification i have an actual tattoo with art from this game on myself

i pretty much finished this game, quit at the final boss. which is the reason i quit altogether in fact, elden ring is an extremely good video game to say the least, the world and exploration are something to be looked upon as an achievement in the open world genre. not being lead anywhere by markers (except for the occasional arrow pointing somewhere at sites of grace), it truly immerses you and gets you excited whenever you come across anything new. the way you can also get super experimental with builds is wild as well! magic builds are better than ever, the weapons stand out more than any other souls game to date, it's really great! but the reason i left 3 and a half stars on this was due to the last 3rd of this game, the end game dungeons and bosses are absolutely miserable to me. the godskin duo, elden beast, and radahn if you need any specifics. it really tore me apart because i do love the first parts of this game! it just wore me down and felt not fun when it came to these aspects, and having your end game build with 50 vigor get 2 shot by some random boss that shouldnt be that hard is very, extremely, disheartening and feels like you're being punished for no reason. overall, great game, still recommend you play it, but if you're like me and the end game got to you as hard as it did, you won't be seeing another replay from this for a while.

update: not as great as the first playthrough

dunno if this is the souls game for me, enjoyed my time while i played it; going through the stunning landscapes was jaw dropping, but the linear level structure and the ‘finite healing that you have to grind for made it a slog for me to get through after the second half

spider-man games just keep on improving so much, can gladly say i enjoyed miles morales more than the original PS4 title which is still great to this day as well :)

no fucking clue if this has some underlying meaning but idc it was so visually stunning and fun to go through

was definitely extremely fun to play as yuffie, but extremely short. took me around 3 hours to beat. it was full of charm during the first half, but when the second half hit it felt like a slog in some sorts. ending cutscene made it 100% worth tho

i think i somehow locked myself in a loop lmao still a good vn that had me hooked though

absolutely filled with charm, every single level from front to back has a unique style to it and (almost) all of them were such a joy to play through. i say almost because of the infamous meat circus level, while it wasn't AS bad as everyone says it is, it certainly wasn't great. but all issues aside with that level, it's such a brilliant game to go through from start to finish and the charm never wore off on me. can't wait to start the second game :)

words cannot describe how good this was

a joy to play and a perfect evolution of the metroid franchise, hope we get more games like this :)

linear metroid with le epic federation backstory shit, movement is good and fine but god the world feels so small and confined. the SA-X concept is super cool and neat, but they didn’t go far enough with it I think, you get 3, maybe 4 encounters with it that are all over in the span of a minute or less. it’s still a fine game, but that doesn’t make it good. weakest entry in the games that i played to be completely honest.

absolutely stellar entry into the metroid franchise, the 360 degree movement on the arm cannon really helps pull the controls together and makes it such a smooth experience from beginning to end. the only issues I have is with the 3DS and sometimes having my finger slip off of the rubbery circle pad, leading to plenty of deaths; as well as the lack of boss variety for all 40 of the metroids. overall, I truly loved my experience with this game even though it’s hard as shit at times. totally recommend.

infinitely better than anything the main game and the first dlc has to offer
