Dude makes meme games that (tries too hard to) sound fun in concept but the actual gameplay consists of "story mission 1: kill 10 type A fishes; story mission 2: kill 10 type B fishes; story mission 3: kill 10 type C fishes..." Bruh.

The evolution system should sound fun too but the first two ability you get is a meaningless radar sight and getting tiny little bonus material drops for killing enemies if you grind hours for the said material to upgrade this ability. It's not a shark simulator, it's a Sisyphus simulator. Also why would I want to stay hours in some eye-hurting dirty murky industrial waste swamp if I wanted to play as a shark... I couldn't even get a good diving experience from it.

Why the input lag at swing? Also career mode sucks.

Has to be played with a team of friends I guess. Zero people at the matchmaking on normal difficulty. Simply unplayable with AI teammate. Needs mini-map.

Well I liked the river part of the game which is something I see great potential, but am I crazy or what, 'cause I'm not seeing any rogue-like loot that's supposed to buff my character? Why are they dropping boring weapons that has got the same dps as my starting gears?

Looks beautiful but the gameplay consists almost entirely of finding unmarked random things all over the place. They've made what would be optional collectibles in normal games into necessary quest items.

15 mins in and it already asked me to do fetch quests, collecting random junks floating in the space. Probably would have liked it if it were my first space open world game. But I've gotten so tired of the same formula.

I wish the puzzles were either fewer or better.

I don't share the hate because I played it free on xgp for an 8 hours campaign then simply moved on. It was fun as a one time experience.

Worse aiming in any game I played because of the input lag. Otherwise decent, but not particularly fun nor unique.

The animation is great, but if you don't particularly like playing puzzle game with a timer and confusing control, I recommend simply watching the story on youtube. The puzzle game isn't just something that break up the pacing. It takes up 90% of the playtime and it gets pretty frustrating even on Easy.

The story itself isn't great either. It's repetitive and the two main female characters barely gets any characterisation. You choices made throughout the game make practically no difference except for the endings. The MC is always panicking on screen and you won't get to see any real romance until the very end. You won't even get to know what it was in them that attracted the MC nor what did the girls see in the MC. So if you're looking for a dating sim with hot anime waifu and harmless casual mini-games like I did, better look elsewhere.

I rated Legends Arceus an 8 and Pokemon Gold (my favourite of the franchise) a 9, there is no way I could be consistent with myself if I rate a game lower than a 9 since I have been having more fun with this game than any of the pokemon game I've played ever (I've played every generations). It's a video game. I seek nothing but fun from a video game.

I like an RPG in which you can kill anyone at anytime, and somehow the story manages to move along with your insanity, but I had a hard time making myself care about the plot in this game. I liked some of the character interaction but like many other Western RPGs I'm given an MC that I do not understand or relate to but somehow I have to roleplay as her. I liked the criticism of capitalism but I haven't been given a reason why I should care about this fictional world at all. If it were less story-driven and dialogue-heavy, but more a mindless exploration/shooter, I would have liked it more I guess.

Great racing sim for newbies like me who knows nothing about driving. But the PC optimization is unexpectedly atrocious. Good news is it gets better after a few hours when the shaders compilation is done. Bad news is the graphics still looks trash compared to what could be accomplished in Forza Horizon 5 (an older game) with the same PC spec.

The story was so barebone it hardly motivate me to grind through all the daily farming and basic ARPG combat after 20 hours of playing (1/3 of the playthrough). I loved RF3 many years ago but perhaps I have outgrown this kind of farming sim. It could have been my favourite game if I were to play it 20 years ago. But now it just feel like a mobile gacha game with more intensive grinding and chores. I felt exhausted. Maybe RF3 was really just better than this sequel, but it was too many years ago so I can't really judge.

Not as bad as people make it to be really. I found the gameplay to be more fun than other typical Tactical JRPG. I think the triangular all-out attack is a great feature because when you play smartly, it makes the gameplay much more dynamic and snappy and you can beat a stage with surprisingly few turns. But this mechanics also overshadows most of the other RPG mechanics in the game including the persona system, making it more like a puzzle game than an RPG. The last 1/4 of the game also felt dragged out because it's basically just wave after wave of boss rush without anything new or challenging.
