In honor of Toriyama's passing, I replayed this game since my first time through years ago. This really is one of the greatest games of all time, with one of the best soundtracks I've ever listened to. This is now entering my top 5.

Zack is an extremely lovable protagonist and getting to see how the other FF7 characters came to be was a delight. The new cast was also a good time. The combat in this game was addicting. I weirdly loved grinding the missions while having youtube/a podcast play in the background. my main gripes with the game are the writing and voice acting being very hit or miss, and that Genesis as a villain was a complete cringe fest. Towards the end of the game I couldn't really stand him. Overall, I was going to give this a 3.5, but that ending bumped it up a half point. It's THAT good.

there was no reason for this DLC to go as hard as it did. yuffie’s gameplay, the score, SONON, all perfection. seriously worth the playthrough.

FF7 OG is one of my favorite games of all time and I had no idea what a remake would entail. this was an absolutely wonderful experience. the character writing, the OST, the side quests… it was all incredible. I’m so excited to see where rebirth takes the story. I have a feeling this trilogy will be one of the best out there.

I never thought that the original would be beaten, but man... this might have edged it out! This is a flawless remake with a wonderful retelling of the story and the characters. In particular, Ashley's character was improved immensely. Overall, I highly recommend you pick this up, honestly, all of the remakes (besides 3) are a 10/10.

honestly, I think this is a perfect remake. one of my all time favorite rpgs remade for the switch, and it was done masterfully. the new cutscenes and the remastered OST are chef's kiss. the post game bosses were also a fun challenge, especially 3D Culex. this shoots up to the top of my favorite switch game list. We need MORE Mario RPGs Nintendo.

I don’t know what the fuck I just played, but I loved it. a mix of half-life vibes and david lynch esque storytelling. my only gripes were the length of the game and the story being batshit insane lol

another fantastic jedi game! the story in this one was a lot more compelling than the last, with an incredible performance from Cameron Monaghan. gameplay was fun, and the score was beautiful. a few big gripes I had were the performance on the ps5 (graphical bugs) and 100% being a bit of a chore (gave up because of the seed pod bs), but overall, a great time. I can’t wait for what the end of the trilogy has in store.

one of the best mario platformers we’ve ever been graced with from Nintendo. this is PEAK. besides the lack and variety of boss battles, this game is pretty much flawless. also, finally 100% this tonight

one of, if not the best superhero game of all time. got the platinum and enjoyed every single second of this masterpiece. Insomniac, you cooked something very special with this one.

took me almost 6 months but I finally beat this and wow. put almost 105 hours into this game (which I NEVER do) so that should tell you my thoughts. there were periods of time I couldn’t put this game down. the score, the exploration, the gameplay, all flawless. man, I don’t even know what to do now lmao

the only ds mario & luigi game I had yet to finish.

this was a great time. ost was solid, gameplay was fun, and it was a fun experience overall. the story did feel kinda rushed, and the worlds weren’t as expanded upon like in superstar saga, but I would still recommend a playthrough. probably one of the darker entries in the mario rpg verse.

the ending text of this game literally made me laugh out loud LMAO nintendo you sneaky bastards.

overall, a decent lil platformer. had a ton of personality and a great soundtrack. level design was iffy tho and became a little bit of a chore to play towards the end.

I’m extremely excited for what princess peach showtime has in store. there’s a ton of potential for a great princess peach game!

man… where to start. what a fucking game. the soundtrack, the visuals, the VOICE ACTING. all fucking top tier, and some of the best I’ve seen in gaming up to this point. Clive is a top 3 FF protagonist and I will stand by that forever. my biggest gripe with this game however, was the pacing issues and the side quests being very samey. Overall, this was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend and my current GOTY.

suda, you’re a madman. what a wild ride this was. the ending was glorious.
