2017

I really liked this, the story is super engaging. exploring the station and learning about all the crew and their fates was so much fun and the environment was delightful to comb through. I did find the combat a little repetitive towards the end of the game but for the most part enjoyed the survival-horror parts of the game

I was immediately hooked when I started playing! the core gameplay loop is immensely satisfying and it took a while for the thrill of looting and building up my car to wear off. the radio soundtrack is amazing! I also loved that you get a bunch of different pride flags to put on your car right away.

the story end up feeling a little boring, and the pacing of the game feels off. by the end of the game some of the story missions felt tedious to me and made the game end on a bit of a low note. overall I enjoyed my time with this really unique game!

this game had such an emotional impact on me, it is one of the best stories I've experienced in a game! re-playing the game and seeing all the ways that your choices impact the story is so beautiful. I would die for basically any character from this game. also the pronoun and presentation sliders are so cool, I love that they're in the game!

I picked this up after hearing how good it was since the 2.0 update and I was not disappointed. Night City feels like a fully realized world and it's beautiful to interact with it. I also really enjoyed the combat.

this is so worth the play if you're at all into base building games! applying the rogue-lite formula to a city building and management is genuinely ingenuitive, and the result is very fun to play. I spent a while doing some achievement hunting and got pretty far into the meta progression before feeling like I was satisfied with it.

it's great for a few hours but lacks the depth to keep me coming back beyond that. the sound design was a highlight for me! ultimately the game feels shallow and after getting some cool combinations across several runs and "beating" the game there's not much bringing me back.

It's beautiful. the writing, the voice acting, the way your choices really matter. I played through the original before The Final Cut released and I still really felt the emotional weight of every piece of this game during this play through.

I expected to like this one a little more... the map design is great and a delight to explore, but the stealth/combat gameplay was ultimately a little unsatisfying. The level that incorporates time travel was so so good and it's worth playing through just to experience it.

this ended up being a letdown for me after truly loving the original. the combat feels worse, the driving sections feel tedious, and the relationship system feels chaotic and frustrating.
what happened here? I'm shocked at how this one turned out

I thought this game was perfect for the first few hours. ultimately the excessive (bad) minigames, the endless pointless quests, and constantly having control ripped away from you made my opinion sour during the games later acts.

It's a beautiful game that had so much love poured into it, the art and music are unreal. I loved the story as well, this game has so much going for it that it's a shame it fell short for me.

there are some absolute highlights to this game. the sound design is great, the story is charming, the gameplay is relaxing. however, I got about halfway though the overall progression of the game and just got board. once the charm of using ingredients to move around the map wore off, the game felt boring and stale to me.

I liked it but was definitely let down as a souls fan new to the AC series. A lot of the early missions felt boring to me, and many of the late game bosses were more frustrating than fun. The combat is cool and the level of customization is amazing, I just don't think this one was for me.

Played throughout early access and experienced the early part of the story mode after 1.0 came out. The core idea is fun but the game feels bloated and clunky. There's UI problems, the story mode is super repetitive and limits nearly all the cool items behind dozens and dozens of runs. I really wish this had been done better but the end result feels really unpolished.

Great game! beautiful world to explore and I loved the story. It does feel a little tedious towards the end, and the game isn't without bugs or issues but I still had a wonderful time playing.
