Delightful experience with immaculate atmosphere and music. While Mario's movement is very limited, the level design and creativity more than make up for this.

Great movement and playability, but the moons are so common and trivial. Many of the challenges are just copy+pasted into every kingdom. To say any of the kingdoms are open-world is laughable. I recognize this is a game made primarily for children, but previous Mario games I'm able to enjoy even as an adult -- with Odyssey, I couldn't find myself liking how hand-holdy it is.

Spectacular open-world experience, so fun to explore this world. Disappointed by the combat and shrines, though.

A timeloop game that feels pretty shallow in retrospect, but still some fun moments and twists to be had. The absolute worst part is the combat section.

One of the greatest co-op games ever with lots of charm. Fun to revisit from time to time. Missions can sometimes get repetitive if you try to grind for too long, though.

Enhances the Terraria experiences most of the time, but it becomes awkward when: 1) You've installed a brand-new mod that you've never seen before and have to constantly consult the wiki, or 2) You have a number of large mods that add a lot of points to progression that it becomes both overwhelming and broken at the same time.

Amazingly fun, though there are a couple points in progression that are quite tedious.

Addicting and time-consuming. I suck at strategy games and still found this really fun and engaging.

Used to be really fun to play with friends, but the updates made it really buggy and confusing. This game getting to popular and the existence of competitive playstyles and metas ruined it in my opinion. Or maybe I just haven't thought about it long enough, IDK

I have wasted over a thousand hours playing this game. Interpret that statement however you'd like.

An online FPS masterpiece. Unfortunate how it's not getting updated anymore, and the number of bots tamper with the experience quite a bit. Still really fun though.

Very overrated puzzle game. Extremely short and one-noted, nothing interesting is done with the mechanics.

2008

Indie classic and impossible to dismiss influence, but it just isn't that fun to play. The RPG parts are really bland and many of the puzzles are mediocre. I figure it would be better to just watch someone else play this on YouTube or something.

Spectacular mystery game, good to mediocre puzzle game. The art style has a lot of charm. I enjoyed the story quite well.

I actually really like this game. Unironically. The challenge is really satisfying, except for the final ice wall.
