Some cheap deaths here and there, but not as hard as I thought it would be, music and aesthetics only get better with age

I completed this game in the Switch collection and
the in-game clock says that it took me 1h51m, however since I played using checkpoints built in the collection, this is not real time, I would guess it took me like 10 hours, and that is because this is one of the hardest games I've ever played, I don't even remember Megaman X being this hard, and I can't comprehend how people finished Zero 1 back in the gameboy advance days without checkpoints, the life system is unforgiving and makes you completely learn the game, and when you do that you can see is far deeper than it seems.

I must add that I finished this without almost no Cyber-elf , I did use two heals in the last boss, but I avoided farming since it can take hours upon hours, I don’t recommend farming in this game.

I'm eager to start with Megaman Zero 2, but maybe in a few days, this is the type of game that invites me to master it and learn combos and stuff, but still, it is pretty hard.

Interesting and deep combat, but I got tired about half of the game so yep

21h13m completion time/ normal difficulty
spent a lot of time in bloody palace though, will come back to higher difficulties in a later time, but for now this is one of my favorite games and hack n slash of all time, royal guard ftw btw

/// original comment V

Suddenly I started playing this hack n slash/character action game that I had in my backlog since I was in high school, back then I simply didn't have the ability to pass forward the Geryon boss battle in mission 12. Right now I'm on mission 19, have 13h+ log hours but a lot of them has been me playing bloody palace and re-playing missions to farm red orbs. This definitely has a high spot in my top 5 games of all time.

One of my favorite castlevanias, i love the design of the castle and enemies, it can get a little easy with the QoL options of the advance collection but still worth the play

I got the “good” ending, but didn’t bother farming all of the souls.
97.2%

one of my personal favorite boomer shooters, i love the ambience and the gunplay is on point, it’s too short but I hope the creator continues giving support and content

3 and a half hours. I tend to go nice on indie games, but I don't know if I want to keep trying with this one. It gives you 0 direction of where to go, you can spent hours searching in the same 4 islands without even knowing what you looking for. The combat is nice but combo system is limited considering how much hp the enemies have. And there's almost no music when you're exploring, just ambient sounds, it gets boring after a while.

Right after I published this log, I did a small advance in the story, will continue for a couple of hours more to see if it gets better.

some would say one of the best platformers in history, I could agree with that, I specially love the aesthetic that gives the idea of everything being a play, theatrical experience, the mechanics are on point and the world overview make this to feel like a whole adventure.

Hugo Fact story-line:
Jul 22 2023 - Aug 02 2023
took me about 9 hours to beat
Refreshing action JRPG, fast paced, nice story that intrigued me enough to follow up in the future with the rest of the characters, but the game suffers from taking place in its entirely inside the tower, that's why I feel like I need to play something else before starting over.

However, Ys series is something I want to experience, so that's nice.
Will come back later to update with the rest of storylines

I get the criticism against this 'remake', however I didn't play the original so...

One of the best looking games on switch, with deep and fun combat system and plenty of customization options. Maybe I would've liked more variety of scenarios, but other than that, one of platinum's best

the gameplay is mediocre at best and I didn't find the story appealing enough to continue.

So... to complete this game took me around 4 hours, it is short and if would've spent full price for this, my rating would be a lot lower, but if you get this on sale (as you should) is a very satisfying and compelling stealth action.

Fantastic atmosphere with lacking gameplay that didn't age well at all, I played to more than a half of the game and felt like I already experienced everything it had to offer and the story wasn't interesting enough for me to stick until the end.

Too much for me, I'm planning to restart it and finish it after a couple of years
