It's ok. Not a huge fan of the ost nor level design, didn't really challenge me much aside from a few annoyances. Still insane they made you do a boss rush on the final stage because the rest of the game is piss easy lmfao. Omnidirectional whipping is cool but I am not a fan of how simon controls, he seems much slower compared to every other classicvania protag I've played thus far. Go play bloodlines instead, fire 16bit vania

This game was funky and neat. 7/10 full of soul

Blows the first out of the water and improves on what the first established by the tenfold. Everything is sheer excellency and creativity at its peak. The soundtrack captures the oddity of the first while still having some jammin tunes. The combat is a fine jrpg combat, status effects being king is something I've always dreamed of in jrpgs and this game delivers. Animations are excellent. Platforming a little funky in places but overall good. 9/10 mini-wayne needs his own spin-off

Very fun, very challenging, very surprising that there was little to know slow down. Nice ost, overall incredibly solid game tho imo the final boss was a bit disappointing but it's good overall.

Honestly the best of the NES titles but not by much imo. It gets a slight edge over 4 and 5 for me.

Beautiful game, solid bosses, solid stages even if a bit gimmicky. Ost not as good as previous games but I still like it.

sheer excellency of a platformer. wonderful from start to finish, cannot recommend it enough.
