not very good but i found it fun as a kid. i doubt i would find it half as entertaining now.

gorgeous to look at, nice music. i ultimately didnt care for it too much as i don't particularly care for its foundation - i think metroid 2 is just too flawed to build anything off of without a complete 100% overhaul

i loved it at first, but the more things began to drag pacing-wise the less i enjoyed it. the "platforming" is very finicky and annoying as well

the only big flaws i'd say this has is the dreadful QTE segments. otherwise it's a fun, rapid-fire character action game

iterates smoothly on the first game , removing the bad QTEs but replacing them with weird game design where enemies can burst out of combos. lovely.

old opinion was wrong again. cool as fuck.

dlc has the problem every FROM dlc has where it starts good but reaches a point where they just go 'lmao' and shove 20 enemies the size of a small building that can kill you in 2 hits into an area that aggro alongside 30 smaller guys that try to pelt you from the sides.

that said micolash is the best boss fight in the game and if you disagree youre boring

a very lite armored core clone. sadly it strips a.c. of its greatest feature, replacing actual different mech designs with very samey designs

i've never felt more alive than when i almost spiked my 360 controller on the ground after killing ornstein and smores

cool ideas, good pvp, bad execution of most ideas

a superb rerelease of what could possibly be called the first anime fighters. bring back darkstalkers already ;-;

harrowing combat, bone-chilling atmosphere. kinda clunky at points. gimme a remaster already

a neat proto-character action game. has some frustrating levels (screams in underwater mission) but is a cool snippet of what re4 was gonna be.

it took them months but after so long they literally only had a working stinger

and it's the worst stinger in the franchise

god-tier. character action at its finest. beowulf frustrated me to no end. worse than the vergil fights.
