this game fucks and is the most video game video game ever.

God what a great game. I can understand what some people are saying about the game feeling weird to play, but after getting used to it I managed to have an absolute blast.
It feels like an alternate universe where single player FPS games stayed in the 90s and never progressed the way that it did today.
The game feels very old school with a new age flair to it that makes it all the more compelling. The weapons and mana system is pretty well balanced, and I don't think there's a single weapon in this game that is useless in the grand scheme of things. Certain weapons deal with certain enemies better, so they all have their own usage.
The settings can be a tad repetitive sometimes, so it makes the game feel very maze-y and not in a good way sometimes.
Overall though, it feels like an old school shooter in all the best ways. I love how creative it is, and it's a fun game to come back to every now and again.

Honestly probably not for me, but I'm gonna keep playing it lmao. My gf and I get a kick out of going around looting houses and killing zombies, but what's cool about this game is that there's like a million ways to approach it. I like watching lets plays of it on youtube where the guys just go ham on this shit, because it makes for some pretty compelling stories.
For as deep as this game is, it's definitely not finished. But it's still pretty fun as is.

I think at some point I started to hate-play this game because of how fucking long it is. I really admire the game as a whole -- it looks beautiful, the new gameplay is pretty stellar for the new direction the game was going in, and the amount of content here is worth the price tag. It just numbs my brain like nothing else tho.
Every chapter felt about 5x longer than it needed to be and the amount of enemy encounters that would just drag on forever made me want to rip my hair out.
The story is rich, but also WILDLY BLOATED since they tried to stretch out what was originally a few hours in the first game into a 20+ hour long campaign.
That's really my main issue with the game is how drawn out it feels. From the bosses, to the cutscenes, and the pacing of the game as a whole -- it felt like there was no end to this shit.
I still enjoyed my time with it, but I had to stop right before the end because I just couldn't do it anymore.
Highly recommend for RPG fans, but I suggest that you pace yourself and also prepare for how long this game will feel.

what a weird game lmao. theres no real depth here or anything, its just mindless fun when you're in a full lobby with a bunch of randoms and you send some dude screaming into the abyss. im surprised at how active the online community is for this game too.

Cute little RPG that deserves a bit of praise! I didn't finish it but I liked where it was going. Good game to just get lazy and vibe out to for a bit!

Probably my most played figher, although not really my favorite -- especially among GG as a franchise.
The graphics are great, the soundtrack slaps.
The mechanics are really simple and a lot of fun to fuck around with. I just wish the combat was more expressive and that there was more neutral. It's such a high damage game that matches end within minutes.
Also the UI is ass. Great game tho

pretty cute game! fun with friends too. one of the better kirby games in the franchise

This game deserves so much more credit than it got when it first came out. It’s one of the few Mario games I willingly go back to - it’s just so easy to pick up and have fun with. Especially if you’ve got some friends???? It’s over bro

Reminds me of the RPGMaker horror games I would play as a kid, except in a point and click style. Pretty neat game! I hate all the characters

A great remake of a classic game from my childhood. I think the thing that mattered most was that this game looked good and it absolutely does. At the end of the day it’s a kids collectathon 3D platformer so I’m not a stickler for quality. It’s just one long SpongeBob episode and to a kid that grew up with the show that’s more than enough.

One of the few western-studio open worlds that I actually enjoy. The game knows how to strip itself back to be more immersive and intuitive. It doesn’t need the map with 100 icons and waypoints on it to make me want to explore the world.
The graphics are gorgeous, and the mechanics are solid. The game can feel pretty repetitive though when you actually get to clearing Mongol camps and such.
Overall cool game tho, the story is great too.
One of the better PlayStation Studios titles.

This one doesn’t get the credit it deserves but I honestly understand why. It’s a deeply flawed game but honestly one of the last DMC games that felt like the originals.
I love Nero #neroforever but he is a bit stale in this game compared to 5.
The gameplay is dope, just a bit repetitive and the pacing is ASS. Still love it tho.

The inferior version of this classic. Go play special edition if you want to actually beat this game.
Still love it tho. Fuck you Kamiya.

This game is hard as balls and makes me want to throw up sometimes but I still love it. Definitely shows insane improvement since DMC1 (and infinitely better than DMC2). It really feels like the REAL first Devil May Cry (makes sense since it’s the prequel).
The weapons are really creative and the gameplay is classic and has insane attention to detail. Whatever you see Dante do in the cutscenes, he does in game. Doesn’t need all the bells and whistles that it’s sequels have to still be a fun time. I just wish it didn’t have that classic game bull shit to make it harder.
