3.5/5, additional half a star for DJ Cara

I had tons of fun and I hate deck building games. Especially liked the mechanics of Act 3 bosses. Kaycee's mod was unfortunately too repetitive and kinda bad in comparison to the main game.

So. Much. Talking. The actual levels are incredibly fun and creative it's insane. Why am I being kicked out of this experience every few minutes to hear another dialogue about where I'm supposed to go next? I know this game is directed towards younger players, but come on...

Super addictive, dirt cheap, still getting updates 1 year after release, highly recommended. You know the game is good when it creates its own subgenre.

Almost non-existent gameplay and story not good enough to make up for it.

Gameplay itself was definitely below average, but man, what an experience that was.
Also, game was unsettling from the beginning, but I still did not expect a literal horror sequence in the middle.

I don't like the person that thought "Finish the entire game in less than 6 hours" is a good idea for an achievement. Other than that, very fun game. I weirdly liked climbing and enjoying the views the most.

It's an adventure game so I was expecting an engaging story to keep my attention, since gaming mechanics are minimal.
In the introduction we find an old photo with a woman, that looks slightly like the main character (there literally is a dialogue option when Kate says, that she doesn't see any resemblance) and suddenly (no spoilers) finding her is the most important thing in Kate's life. After another ~2 hours, the game did not give me any reason why would I care about this mission and did not introduce anything interesting, so I just stopped playing. Even if it gets better, you can't expect the player to wait that long in a story-focused game.
As a side note, I like to go for all achievements in games and this one has a lot of easily missable ones with no chapter select after finishing the game.

Outstanding world design and boss fights.

Simply beatiful. Did not cry, but some stories told by the characters were truly touching.

Oof, played a few hours but got bored after mindlessly slaying those demons, not my type of game.

Cannot believe that Sonic is actually dead.
On a serious note, I expected more but it's free so it was worth it I guess.

Base game was good, but getting 5 stars in every facility for an achievement was the real deal. Creating a zipline/road network to quickly travel between them was truly an experience.

Loved the vibe of Bureau - its blocky interior and monsters appearing out of nowhere.
