(this review is also applicable to Pokemon Black 2)

I feel that Black and White 1 had a more enjoyable story, but this game is chock full of more content. Gameplay wise, it's the best Pokemon has ever been.

The story in this game is incredible. Are Pokemon slaves to humans, or are they willing to join their captures in their adventure, and if so, is that moral? The battle of truth and ideal culminates here.

This is a more straightforward Sonic experience compared to previous games, and I think that's why many hold it in higher regard than those. That said, despite its straightforwardness, it's got tons of style, some sick levels, and an excellent soundtrack.

The "Sonic 3 Complete" rom hack is the way you need to experience this.

This game is fun, but its level design is oftentimes confusing. Still, I gotta love this due to its humor.

This game has the greatest original soundtrack of all-time, thank you Yuzo Koshiro.

And the gameplay is tight and impactful, just what you'd want out of a beat 'em up.

THIS GAME RULES YOU CAN USE ANYTHING AS A WEAPON

but it's pretty short, being an arcade game

The sequel to Die Hard Arcade, THIS GAME STILL ROCKS BECAUSE YOU CAN USE ANYTHING AS A WEAPON, INCLUDING A BIG ASS BAGUETTE AND A FISH

Still pretty short, though at least you get some replay value out of the three different entries.

I'm glad this game was ported to other platforms so everyone could experience it. It's a game I think everyone at least needs to have a look at due to its excellent, simple to learn, hard to master gameplay and its pure audio/visual style. It will kick your butt, however.

Is this the greatest hack-and-slash ever made?

Yes.

There's absolutely no point in playing Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, or even AlphaRuby and OmegaSapphire, when a game like this exists.

There's really nothing to say, it's a damn good Pokemon game, packed full of content, including the best incarnation of the post-game Battle Frontier we've ever had.

This is a very good platforming game with a lot of variation, but it may be a bit too big for its breeches to get a perfect rating. The ending levels are an absolute drag and just not fun to play through, which is a shame because everything up to that point is pretty great. World just did it all better.

Good lord what an experience. I can't do it justice by just reviewing it, please check this game out, especially if you're a fan of Shenmue or visual novel games.

This game is proof once more that Kojima's finger is always on the pulse of societal and technological change. I played the translated version of this on the Saturn, and you can tell Kojima put a lot of thought into the worldbuilding of this game, especially the science behind it, which uses actual medical science with your usual Cyberpunk tropes. If you can dedicate the time to this, and you like visual novels and point-and-clicks, you owe it to yourself to play this.
