"Oh, I thought you were dead!"

"My death was...greatly exaggerated."

Man, rage games are getting too predictable these days.

Selling out is another dumb way to die it seems.

More like invisible because I forgot about this game as soon as I put it down.

For that final boss, I better see some power scalers debating that Peach can slap Kirby. That puffball had it too good for too long.

...I think I just don't get it. There's obviously something there; I just don't think I want what the binds are.

It's a fine and solid game, but it's also a game I immediately forgot after beating.

Who the fuck decided to make the face buttons the aim button?!? Let me talk to them for a minute!

Honestly, the jumping constantly wasn't the real issue. It was the lack of support.

Ok, this game slaps pretty damn hard, and the workshop makes it slap even harder. Absolutely the best non-Smash Platform fighting game; no questions asked.

The fact that this game isn't as big or popular as others to get the attention and funds it needs to shine is a real slap to the face.

This feels like the first game with a lot more polish and care taken into it. Happy to be able to give this series a chance. Here's hoping the third game is even better.

Reminder, people once paid quadruple-digit numbers to play this game from eBay phones.

Ok, realistically, this game is more of an 8/10 for casual players. The 1/10 experience comes from those trying to 106% this fucking monster, and even then it probably would have just been a 5/10 game. However, the game had an error and caused it to reset when trying to get into Shipping Error, and that ended up causing me to lose around 2/3's to 3/4's of my progress to 106% completion. Deleted this game straight off my PS5 for that stunt. I never want to see it again.

Even for someone who doesn't do the hack and slash spectacle fighting game thing all that much, I could feel like something was missing. It's not bad, but the lack of a reliable way to keep tabs on your moves and combos, and just how much the game loves spamming enemies and repeating them made me feel like I had seen enough. It's not bad, but you need to be a real 2D hack-and-slash fan to love it.
