Not every game in this collection is great. One or two are actually really really bad. But there are definitely interesting and even good games in it. My highlights were Pony Factory and Summer Night. If you use easy mode or use the FAQ guide then I also recommend Outsiders.

Surprisingly fun indie first person melee game. Reminds me of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, which is a good thing as that is a type of game I want to see more often.
Elderborn was more fun than I anticipated. Even the story is somewhat interesting (although the video compression artifacts are hilariously bad during cutscenes). The combat is fast and fun but not too deep. I wish the gore/dismemberment were more fleshed out though. Overall a fun short action game with some minor design flaws.

I just finished my first ever playthrough of Super Metroid and can now understand why it is regarded as a classic. It is still very well playable apart from some oldschool bs gamedesign toward the end (I assume they wanted to sell their game guides too and thus designed some of the later parts so that you will be tempted to buy one as it can be very unclear where you need to proceed sometimes). The music is great too and obviously a reference for the Metroid Prime ost, which I love dearly.

A really fun indie arena fighting game with a story that goes beyond the arena. It is very satisfying to cut apart your enemies with various weapons and to master the combat in general. I finished the story today on the highest difficulty and liked it for the most parts.

This is the first Halo game I completed and it was quite fun. Nothing revolutionary but a nice linear singleplayer shooter campaign filled with action.

Terrifying atmosphere just like Silent Hill 2, just more focused on terror. Gameplay wise it's also just like SH2. The story is a continuation of the first game and thus was very hard for me to fully understand.

Thief is a very unique stealth experience. In some regards it aged quite well, in others, not so much. That is why I did not finish the game and instead watched Mandalore Gaming's review of the game on YouTube. I really liked the atmosphere tough. I intend to check out the other games in the Thief series too some day.

I am playing the Zelda series in release order and this is the first game where I did not need to look into a guide once to finish the game. In addition to that, the final dungeon was actually fun and not annoying, like in the prior games. Overall, this is very charming and at the time of writing this, my favorite 2d Zelda game. The performance and visuals on the switch are lacking though and made me play this whole thing in handheld instead of docked mode.

After finishing the first whole area after the prologue, I decided to drop the game as the combat is just no fun at all and started to annoy me quickly. Everything apart the combat is fine and can be fun and cute but the combat system is such an integral part of the game you can not ignore, that it ruined the game for me. Also why the fuck does this game run at 30fps...

Fantastic indie game that is quite addictive. Charming universe, relaxing gameplay, nice music and perfect game length.

lame open world game with a rather interesting story. Its the kind of open world I don't want to see ever again.

I have played this game extensively over the last few years , over 120hours to be exact, but I never finished the game as I always burnt myself out on it by playing it in a way that felt more like work than a videogame. It is clearly my fault for never finishing the games story, but I am done with it now and do not want to play it again. Gonna need a long break from this kind of game before touching mankind divided in a few years.

Incredible game, as was the first Insomniac Spider-Man. Its shorter and smaller, but the story benefits from that. Superb visual presentation, deep, fun, but challenging combat and the well written story made me get the platinum trophy for this game (which required beating the game again in ng+).

I wasn't happy with the announcement trailer, but I am glad I bought and played the game anyways as this is definitely the best 2D Metroid yet.
