omg honey they made a game out of edgy AO3 fetish slop

Right here video game combat was perfected. Challenging, well-paced and incredibly cathartic. I still remember the first time I beat the final boss so vividly. The rest of the 15 times I played this game I remembered less but I still really liked it I think idk this became a podcast turn-your-brain-off game for me I need help

honestly soundtrack carries the entire game

Takumi clearly wanted to go all out in the Trilogy's conclusion, and it was cool seeing all of the characters coming back to solve one final case. But the mysteries themselves (the painting in case 5, iykyk) and some of the "clever" foreshadowing dragged it down for me. Could have been a classic but it's just really solid.

Case 4 is the only case I care about in this game. But it is like my favorite case ever so 7/10 nevertheless

broken ass pc port + bad graphics + boring ass story. just because i liked the phantom thieves when they were a turn based rpg doesnt mean i'll like them when they're in stupid musou games (i really dont like musou)

One of the most unique and best puzzle games I've ever played. Some of the endings are pretty weird but overall, a great time

PEAK Lovecraftian horror that also manages to bring up interesting questions about morality. Just wish the endings were better. OST is god tier. But the sex was weird idk didnt like it

Somehow, the unholy matrimony between White Album 2, Doki Doki Literature Club, Undertale and NTR actually worked. The way meta elements are explored go beyond anything Doki Doki/Undertale tried to do and genuinely blew my mind multiple times, while also tying it with compelling drama and a love triangle I couldn't help but get super invested in. My only complaint would probably be the weak opening which literally made me drop the game for like a year, and the writer not being able to keep his fetishes in his pants (but that's par for the course with eroge). Also Kanako Itou song peak peak peak

2018

Played it a shit ton when it first came out, and sank another 120 hours into it when I got a new pc. Perfect roguelike.

Bumping soundtrack and incredibly cathartic beat-em-up action. Every character I tried turned out to be so fun in their own way. I had to uninstall it by a certain point because the infinite arcade mode stole too much time from me

im starting to think the simplicity of the original actually made it better because jesus wtf is happening even

jumpscares were better tho

Was my go to turn-your-brain-off game for a long time. I have issues.

Sometimes I forget what a tight narrative the first AA was. Great start to the franchise.
