Let's stop pretending this game is anything more than a frustrating slog fest, designed to be played in an era where if you didn't make your game extremely difficult or super confusing, it could be beaten in an hour, and this game is exactly that. It was made to be confusing, forcing you to grind for resources to put a bomb on every wall to see if it has a secret door, and use the candle on every shrub to see if it has a secret staircase, the candle which can only be used once per screen, initially I assume that's just some sort of tech limitation, but then you get an upgrade for the candle that lets you use it an unlimited amount of times! Seriously, this game was designed to waste your time.

Fun fact: 99% of gamblers quit just before they're about to hit it big

I've played Payday for 10 years. I bought Payday 2 in 2013 and loved it, followed the secret, finished it myself, did every heist on DSOD, I've done everything you can do in Payday 2. This was meant to be the follow up that would blow my mind. I was ready on release date to spend hours playing this with my buddies.

We got two heists in, the servers have been down for almost an entire day now. Starbreeze starkly defended the always online nature of the game, and now it makes them look like clowns. You can't even play the game solo, you have to matchmake for a game with bots. You also need a 3rd party nebula account to even play the game.

The UI is terrible. The menus feel like they were made for controllers with no account for PC. There's no lobbies or lobby browser (e.g. CrimeNet), you get booted to the main menu after every heist, no way to keep playing with the crew you were just with. All the weapons are just in a list clumped together, no filter of weapon type or primary/secondary. Weapon stats are shown in bars instead of numbers. Customization has been completely stunted as well as build variety. Most guns feel the same, abandoning the myriad of playstyles and builds available in Payday 2.

Melee bash does almost nothing, terrible damage and not even a stagger. There are no melee weapons, no lasers, no safe house to go to. The ping system is extremely bad, you are forced to use the ping button to shout at civs or mark guards and special units, instead of just using the interact button. Instead of a normal EXP system, you're forced to do challenges to level up. The skills force you to play around three boring buffs, most of the skills are built around this, and many skills are overall completely useless.

I wanted to love this game, but so much of it is super off-putting, feeling like it was released way too early. Stack on the fact the game also been mostly unplayable since release. I hope they can make this better, but for now I'm extremely disappointed.

What a disappointment. Starting this by saying I am a Dragon Ball fan, a big one. Everything about this game just feels like a chore. When you're in combat it doesn't feel like you want Dragon Ball combat to feel. Enemies constantly interrupt your combos with bursts, suddenly invincibility while they charge heavy attacks, and animations that completely break the flow of battle. This is 3 times worse when you're fighting against more than 1 enemy without supports in your party. The vehicles are horrible, both the car and the walker thing have no reason to exist when you can just fly everywhere. The time trials aren't fun. The game misses much of the nuance and detail of the original DBZ story, and they cherry on top? This game is called "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" but you spend around 70% of the game playing literally every other character.

VERY enjoyable for the first 40 hours or so I put into it, however it became a slog for the next 40 as I worked to completely the post game content and complete the pokedex for the full ending.

One of the better Warriors games, the worst way to experience the One Piece story of course, skips a lot and has a game original Wano story

You got a Guardian Acorn! It will reduce the damage you take by half!

Another banger from Tango Gameworks. Gameplay isn't super special, as it boils down to an FPS, but the world, story and characters are tightly written. Akito and KK make a great team. Side quests ranged from repetitive to feeling like main content, and all the set pieces are beautiful. The enemy designs were horrifying, but didn't really have the difficulty I expected, I guess I should have played on Hard.

Played on Ship of Harkinian on PC. What a stellar game. A beautiful introduction to 3D for the Zelda series, constantly exciting. I always love to explore every inch of this world whenever I get the chance to play this game.

if anyone tells you fnaf 3 is the worst game they haven't played fnaf 4

A lot of people suck at this game and mald about it in their review

Didn't care about Vampire Survivors but now someone has made this funny anime woman version, so I played it. In love with this game, it's a ton of fun and an amazing time waster game. I really like playing Mumei, Fauna, and Gura.

The titans in this game love to focus you. There could be 10 other people swarming around it and it will only want you. they turn seemingly at random, making keeping up with their nape extremely tedious. My weapons would also be slightly too weak, and would leave the titan with very little health, robbing me of a satisfying kill and wasting more of my gas and blade durability. The story is simply a retelling of the original, but with your self insert just kinda there, this is obviously the worst way to experience the story of Attack on Titan. Even if you wanted to experience like this, it only goes to Chapter 90 in the manga, or the end of season 3 in the anime, leaving the story just before the arc that would make it more like a traditional musou game.

Played through The Telltale Definitive Series. Absolutely worse than the first two in almost every way. The point and click elements were worse, the world and characters looked worse despite clearly having better graphical fidelity over all, Clementine has become an insufferable bitch in the time between the last game and this one. No matter what choices you made in season 2 she is like this. Her choices at the end of the game are completely detirmed by the blackpack sequneces and not at all with how you treat her or help her throughout the game, which seems insanely stupid. I never cared about Kate, or David, or Tripp or Gabe like I cared about Kenny, Lee, and Clem in the first two games. Javi is a pretty cool character though.
